DESCRIPTION

San Francisco Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Pride Celebration, usually known as San Francisco Pride, is a parade and festival held at the end of June each year in San Francisco, California, to celebrate the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) people and their allies. The 44th annual parade in 2014 included over 200 parade contingents, and is described on the official website as “the largest gathering of LGBT people and allies in the nation”. The San Francisco Pride parade is a worldrenowned LGBT pride parade. It is held on Sunday morning of the Festival. The route is usually west along San Francisco’s Market Street, from Steuart Street to 8th Street and it runs from 10:30 am until almost 3:00 pm. Participants line up off the parade route in advance of the start of the parade. Pride Cab is the child company of the San Francisco Pride and it provides a taxi/cab service. It is not only for the LGBT community but also for tourists, locals, and everyone who needs taxi service.

DESCRIPTION

Hans Christian Anderson was a Danish author. Although a prolific writer of plays, travelogues, novels, and poems, Andersen is best remembered for his fairy tales. Mikkeller is a microbrewery founded in 2012 in Copenhagen, Denmark. The company does not operate an official brewery, instead, they collaborate with other brewers to produce their recipes or experimental one off brews. The brewery was founded by Mikkel Borg Bjergso, a highschool teacher. Bjergso is a beer produced by Mikkeller brewery with a new concept based on what people do in a bar. Most people are telling stories when they go out to get some drinks in a bar with their friends.

DESCRIPTION

Kafala means bond in arabic and that is our main purpose to create the app is to bond with the refugee from their country that experience war or some sort of dictatorship. Kafala is an app that helps volunteers/ individuals and refugees who wants to build relationship with each others and help them settle their new life. We believe that money is not the only way to help refugees, there are lots of other way such as empowerment, education, and having a community. That is why this app will help connecting refugees with locals so that they can make new connections and help out each other.

Quoridor is a 2 or 4-player abstract strategy game designed by Mirko Marchesi and published by Gigamic Games. Quoridor received the Mensa Mind Game award in 1997 and the Game Of The Year in the USA, France, and Canada. The concept behind this project is back to classic that is why building a board game with natural material such as wood is important to the design.

A powered exoskeleton also known as powered armor, power armor, exoframe, hardsuit, or exosuit is a wearable mobile machine that is powered by a system of electric motors, pneumatics, levers, hydraulics, or a combination of technologies that allow for limb movement with increased strength and endurance. The beginning of the development of humanoid robotics coincided with the beginning of the development of the world’s first active exoskeletons at the Mihailo Pupin Institute in 1969, under the guidance of Prof. Vukobratovic. After that, the technology has taken turns in recent days where humans use it for healing, war, and industrial purposes.

Have you ever had difficulty to “break through� your creativity block? We all know that habit is the hardest thing to change, same as your style in design. For me this is not my style at all and at first I was really afraid of doing this kind of project. At least I am going to try and show you how to be experimental on your typography skill and be outside of your comfort zone. The first step that I am breaking through all the rules here and tried to be experimental with it and not afraid to try new things.

For viewers to experience what it’s like to be on the set, we are providing Game of Thrones theme wines that will help you emerge into the world of Westeros which is full of darkness, secrets, and mysteries.

INSPIRATION

This wine is based on House Tyrell. House Tyrell of Highgarden is one of the Great Houses of the Seven Kingdoms, being Lords Paramount of the Mander and the liege lords of the Reach. A large, wealthy house, its wealth is only surpassed among the Great Houses by House Lannister, and the Tyrells can field the greatest armies. Additionally, if they call the ships of the Redwyne fleet, the lords of the Shield Islands, and the coastal lords, they can command a navy that equals if not surpasses the royal fleet of King’s Landing. Based on gold that House Tyrell possess came out the most luxury wine which called Arbor Gold.

INSPIRATION

This wine is based on House Stark of Winterfell. It is one of the Great Houses of Westeros and the principal noble house of the north. In days of old they ruled as Kings of Winter, but since Aegon’s Conquest they have been Wardens of the North and ruled as Lords of Winterfell. Their seat, Winterfell, is an ancient castle renowned for its strength. They lived in the north part of Westeros which is very cold and snowy. It draws my attention to look at Scandinavian design and how they used woodcraft like illustration and implemented it into the design on the wine.

INSPIRATION

This wine is based on House Martell. House Nymeros Martell of Sunspear, usually simply called House Martell, is one of the Great Houses of the Seven Kingdoms and the ruling house of Dorne. “Nymeros” indicates “of the line of Nymeria,” referring to the union of the Martells with the Rhoynish warrior queen Nymeria around 700 BC. Prince of Dorne rules Dorne from Sunspear in southeastern Dorne. This type of architecture gave me the inspiration to implement patterns into my design.

Their purpose is to pursue something better. It’s hard to be yourself in a world that’s constantly trying to make you into someone else. It’s easy to slip and find yourself marching to the beat of someone else’s drum. blu stands for the individual. Whoever you are, however you want to express it, that’s okay. As long as you’re being true to you.
