EDITOR’S LETTER
Since 1953, our LAX Coastal Chamber has been an essential part of the business community in Westchester, Playa del Rey, Del Rey, Playa Vista, Marina del Rey, LAX, and surrounding communities. Over 70 years, it has changed, grown, and become a driving force of economic prosperity in the region. Along with celebrating our 70th birthday this past year, we pushed to roll out a new look and feel for our growing organization. Our new logo and brand are a celebration of innovation, inclusivity, and our vibrant spirit.
Over the last year, our business community at the LAX Coastal Chamber has grown larger and stronger than at any other time in history. The range of businesses and industries we serve continues to diversify, but one thing remains constant – a commitment to helping our small business community grow and thrive. We continue to listen to our community’s wants and needs, providing value and meaningful programs that help make a difference in a business’ trajectory.
Today, it is tougher than ever to do business in Los Angeles, LA County, and the State of California. Chambers of Commerce play an essential role in connecting the “business dots,” ensuring the voices of our business community are loudly heard. We work closely with our elected leaders to maintain that our LAX Coastal region is the best place to work, play, and live.
This year’s magazine offers a peek at the growing sports and entertainment industry that is happening right next door to the LAX Coastal region in the “City of Champions.” Inglewood is quickly becoming the epicenter of great professional sports, top-notch entertainment, and incredible music! We are gearing up for the major global events that are soon coming to our City of Angels. The Chamber is making every effort to prepare ourselves and our business community for the taking and to enthusiastically welcome the world to our doorstep!

Right Next Door in the “City of Champions”
Getting to Know Six Leading Instruments of Change in Inglewood
It is a late Sunday morning at Hollywood Park Casino and a flood of vehicles are funneling into the parking structure like ants marching to their home colony. Windows open, music bumping, and hints of blue, and yellow can be seen from afar. Just another typical game day Sunday for Hollywood Park Casino (HPC). In a crisp clean suit, Deven Kumar, General Manager, finds his way to the casino foyer, gives a nod to his security guard, and ventures out the glass doors to observe the crowds gathering for another official Los Angeles Rams VIP Tailgate Experience. The energy is electric and football is back with a vengeance in the City of Angels.
Beyond the sea of people and just across the street, Deven takes a quick look at the progress of the state-of-the-art structure – Intuit Dome, the soonto-be home of the LA Clippers and live events.
As Deven watches on, he reflects on his journey that brought him to this place - this moment in time to be a part of something extraordinary - the newest and most innovative nexus of the sports and entertainment world. It was eight years ago when Hollywood Park Casino was the first redevelopment project within the district.
Inglewood is no stranger to enthusiastic fans and memorable sports moments. It was “Magic” (Earvin “Magic” Johnson) and the “Great One”
(Wayne Gretzky) that rotated packing out the Forum in the 1980s and early 1990s. Next door, Hollywood Park Racetrack saw nearly 40,000 race track enthusiasts almost every night of the week.
In the late ’90s, the Lakers and Kings relocated their home games to downtown Los Angeles and numbers began to dwindle at Hollywood Park. Shortly thereafter came the financial meltdown of 2008. On December 22, 2013, Hollywood Park would end 75 years of continuous racing in Southern California. Inglewood saw a lot of changes in the next decades, and the “City of Champions” sought something spectacular to create monumental change.
That “something” would come in 2014, when a new era of Inglewood would begin as then St. Louis Rams owner, E. Stanley Kroenke, purchased 60 acres of land adjacent to the Hollywood Park Racetrack with the intention of one day building a new state-of-the-art stadium that would bring the Rams back to their home in Los Angeles. In February 2015, the Inglewood City Council, under the guidance of Mayor James T. Butts, approved a 60,000-person stadium to bring professional sports back to Inglewood.
In 2016, the brand-new Hollywood Park Casino was erected under the leadership of Deven Kumar, General Manager. Before coming to Hollywood
Park Casino, Deven was involved in the opening and operation of the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas followed by the opening of the iconic Fontainebleau Resort in Miami Beach. Because of Kumar’s vast development experience, he has been involved with the master planning of the entire Hollywood Park District.
The just eight-year-old Hollywood Park Casino boasts over 125 tables offering poker and other card games, along with an Off Track Betting Facility for Horse Racing. It is also an elegant destination stop and a gateway for the Hollywood Park sports and entertainment district. Whether guests are hoping to catch all things spor ts on one of HPC’s fifty-plus high-definition televisions or enjoy some of the delicious California fare at the Century Bar & Grill, HPC is a Los Angeles destination not to be missed. “We are focused on making Hollywood Park Casino an entertainment experience and an integral part of the whole sports and entertainment district,” said Kumar.
RETURNING TO HOME
On January 12, 2016, the NFL voted 30-2 allowing the St. Louis Rams to relocate and return to their home in Los Angeles. After four years at the LA Memorial Coliseum, the Los Angeles Rams opened their fifth season back in Los Angeles at SoFi Stadium on September 13, 2020, beating the Dallas Cowboys 20-17 in their first home game. The milestone occasion celebrating the opening of their almost $5 billion stadium was overshadowed by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and fans were not allowed to watch live inperson sports.
Rebranded with a fresh logo and new colors, the Los Angeles Rams had taken on a revitalized identity in their new home in Inglewood. In August 2021, Kathryn Kai-ling Frederick joined the Los Angeles Rams as the Chief Marketing Officer In her role, she leads all areas of marketing and media, including brand strategy, experiential, creative, game presentation, social, digital, performance analytics, and content. Prior to joining the Rams, she served as Chief Marketing Officer for Live Nation Enter tainment and Ticketmaster. “I am extremely passionate about building brands and cultivating fandom, especially through modern digital content and experiences. I have the unique privilege of introducing fans to memories they have yet to make. The sights, sounds, and emotional highs become the fabric of a fan’s personal identity, and to me, that’s magical,” remarks Kai-ling Frederick.
Kai-ling Frederick and the Los Angeles Rams have committed themselves to being fully immersed on and off the field. “We are about cultivating ‘defiantly original’ experiences for our fans and using our incredible platform to team up with organizations working to make this region a better place to live, work, learn, and play.”
In the spring of 2024, the Rams brought their “Draft Experience presented by SoFi” and “Zillow Draft House” to Hermosa Beach. Over 2,000 young fans took to the field for football clinics and drills against the backdrop of waves crashing in the distance. In the summer of 2024, the Rams will be partnering with Loyola Marymount University (LMU) to bring their Training Camp to the LMU campus in Los Angeles as they prepare for the upcoming season. The “Rams House” will be a packed house on September 22, as they open the season against the San Francisco 49ers.
THE
Anjali Raval remembers it like yesterday. “I was working as a Tour Marketing Agent at WME-IMG when I got the phone call. It was the opportunity I was dreaming about.” The Los Angeles Stadium and Entertainment District was looking for a head of marketing for their new 298-acre sports and entertainment district at Hollywood Park. Raval is no stranger to the entertainment industry or the City of Inglewood. She previously worked for the House of Blues and LiveNation, and eventually was recruited to be a part of Madison Square Garden Entertainment which would be responsible for the re-opening of the Kia Forum. These work experiences prepared her for what was next to come … the creation of Hollywood Park.
“Beyond the gridiron, the vision was to make Hollywood Park a place where people could work, play, dine, and live - a place the community could enjoy year-round,” comments Raval. “With over 500,000 square feet of local business offerings and eateries, Hollywood Park was developed in key phases. SoFi Stadium and YouTubeTheater were the first to open, followed by a variety of residential properties.“ In this next year, Hollywood Park will open several brick-and-mortar businesses, including entertainment venue, Cosm, and ICONIX Fitness - a state-of-the-art health and fitness gym that offers a variety of group exercise classes, top-of-the-line equipment, a rooftop junior-size Olympic pool, and several other luxury amenities.
Hollywood Park is a gathering place that welcomes Inglewood residents, Angelenos, and others from around the world. Everything, from local farmer’s markets to grander community events, is specifically tailored for the communities surrounding Hollywood Park.
BOLT UP
The year was 1959 and Barron Hilton held a contest to name the newest team that would be a part of the AFL, the “Chargers.” With the winning name selected by then team General Manager, Frank Leahy, the Los Angeles Chargers spent their first season in the City of Angels. In 1961, the team relocated to San Diego and in 1970, the Chargers and the rest of the AFL would merge with the NFL to form one new league. After 56 seasons, the Bolts returned to their roots in Los Angeles.
After three seasons at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, the Chargers found their home at Sofi Stadium in Inglewood. The organization is excited to open The Bolt - the team’s new state-of-the-art training facility and corporate headquarters in El Segundo. The Bolt boasts 150,000 square feet of indoor/outdoor space, three natural grass practice fields, and a pool, among the myriad amenities. “It has always been our goal to develop new and innovative ways to continue to share Chargers football with the community. Between SoFi Stadium in Inglewood and now The Bolt just down the street, we are entering an exciting chapter of the Los Angeles Chargers,” says Megan Bell, Senior Vice President of Consumer Revenue & Insights for the LA Chargers.
Like many others, Bell feels like her previous roles in sports have prepared her for this moment. “Early on, I discovered the importance of learning as much as possible. I took every opportunity to collaborate, learn new technology, and ask questions. My favorite part of working in sports is the atmosphere.”
Bell’s work started not on the gridiron, but on the ice as part of the sales team for the Philadelphia Flyers. Today, Bell oversees all ticketing and strategic marketing operations including game-by-game ticket and premium suite sales, season ticket packages, member services, and even the data and analytics behind all of the ticketing and marketing efforts for the team.
Going to a Chargers game offers more than just four quarters of football. Whether hosting a small group or a large party up to 40, SoFi Stadium has something for everyone. Hosting clients in the state-of-the-art Terrace Suites or celebrating the company holiday party are just two examples of how the Chargers and SoFi Stadium cater to any need.
Bell, like many, feels optimistic. “Now, with three of Los Angeles’ professional sports teams playing in the heart of Inglewood, it’s setting the stage for years to come with SoFi Stadium as the trailblazing venue for these two industries. The future is going to be bigger and better than ever for Inglewood.”
The Chargers are starting a new chapter under new Head Coach, Jim Harbaugh. The last time Harbaugh coached an NFL team, he happened to lead his team to the Conference Championship in each of his first three seasons. “Bolt Up” Los Angeles! It will be an exciting season.
AN ARENA LIKE NO OTHER
In August 2024, another new cutting-edge sporting and entertainment venue comes online in Inglewood - the new home of the Los Angeles ClippersIntuit Dome. A facility has never been built like it – a fully electric venue exceeding the most stringent environmental standards that will surely achieve LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Platinum certification. Also, Intuit Dome has technological adaptability to change as innovations come online. The arena carries zero fossil fuel usage and has more than 260 solar panels with battery life to sustain itself for up to seven hours off L.A.’s electric grid.
“We can’t wait to show off our amazing new home to the world. Intuit Dome will challenge fans’ expectations for the live experience and change the music landscape in Los Angeles,” says Scott Sonnenberg, Chief Commercial Officer of the Los Angeles Clippers.
In August of 2018, Sonnenberg was tapped to join Clipper Nation. With more than 20 years of NBA experience, Sonnenberg was brought in to provide oversight of global partnership sales and strategy, partnership marketing, and premium suite sales and service for not only the LA Clippers, but also the Kia Forum, and Intuit Dome.
Now deeply rooted in SoCal, Sonnenberg understands how basketball and other sports unite people and communities. He shares this passion with LA Clippers Chairman Steve Ballmer who constantly emphasizes that “we’re not just here to play games, we’re here to lift the community.” The Intuit Dome was created and designed to engage the local and vibrant Inglewood community As a testimony to that theme, Intuit Dome has five basketball courts including one in The Plaza and an inside court just for the fans, dubbed “Court B” – spaces like these create much-needed gathering opportunities for the community and allow for a homegrown fan experience from start to finish.
“Mayor Butts and his team have been active partners and supporters in helping us open this new arena that Inglewood won’t just be proud of, but part of. We are thrilled to move our full staff to Inglewood, joining our colleagues at the Kia Forum who have been leaders in the local community for decades,” states Sonnenberg.
Intuit Dome will open on August 15th and 16th, 2024 with two Bruno Mars shows followed by visits by comedian Sebastian Maniscalco, Peso Pluma, Twenty One Pilots, Future and Metro Boomin, Usher, Slipknot, Billy Joel, and Ana Gabriel, just to name a few. The experience at Intuit Dome will go far beyond the standard stadium experience. Intuit Dome will provide a wide variety of premium hospitality offerings including Halo Lofts, Halo Suites, Backstage Bungalows, and Courtside Cabanas. The next exciting chapter is about to begin in Los Angeles Clippers history.
Since breaking ground in 2021, the Clippers and Intuit Dome have been at Inglewood community events big and small – everything from the Inglewood Little League opening to the Taste of Inglewood. Recent event examples: Intuit Financial Literacy event at Inglewood’s Miracle Theater for the past two years; Annual Adopt-A-Family holiday event at the Cinepolis Inglewood; Feed the Community annual holiday event held at the Kia Forum, benefitting local citizens; Planting 1,000 trees in the City of Inglewood; and also working with several Inglewood-based or Inglewood-benefitting organizations, like: Social Justice Learning Institute (SJLI), Our Own, Inglewood Rec and Parks (foundation partner for Jr. Clippers), Brotherhood Crusade, and Inglewood Unified and Lennox School Districts.
The fan and participant experience couldn’t be more central to what is happening in Inglewood. Imagine a fully immersive experience that connects you through augmented and virtual reality.
Welcome to Cosm – the next great entertainment venue designed as a place that allows you and others you love to be transformed into a different place. Cosm is completely redefining how the world experiences content through pioneered technology that surrounds fans and brings them into action like never before. “The future of entertainment is building open venues that bridge the virtual and the physical worlds, connecting people and bringing them together in what we call Shared Reality,” says Corey Breton Head of Venues at Cosm.
“Cosm is an Inglewood original – a first-of-its-kind venue opening in the spor ts and entertainment capital of the world. We’ll operate seven days a week, 365 days a year, and we want to be the first choice for the LAX and Inglewood communities to experience sports, art, and entertainment alongside an elevated food and beverage offering that is tailored to capture the essence of Inglewood, Los Angeles, and southern California altogether.”
Breton, like the others, feels that his entire career has prepared him for this special opportunity with Cosm. “It was an internship with the Grand Rapids Rampage, part of the AFL, that exposed me to what a career in sports and entertainment could look like.” After graduation, Breton spent 12 years working for various teams in the NBA – the Phoenix Suns, the Atlanta Hawks, and the Minnesota Timberwolves. In 2015, Breton moved to Los Angeles to help launch the Los Angeles Football Club and then into a global role with Legends corporate until 2023 when he landed at Cosm.
Breton, now a resident in Westchester, loves that the local region is becoming the center of the sports and entertainment world and Cosm plays an important role in carrying that forward. Cosm’s technology gives audiences access to front-row seats to the most sought-after experiences across, and in some cases beyond, the globe. Guests will experience football games from the 50-yard line, sit stage-side at a concert, and travel to the most obscure parts of the world. It is the type of experience you have only ever seen in sci-fi films.
Cosm is designed with three distinct venue experiences – the Dome, the Hall, and the Deck. The Dome allows participants to experience an immersive 88-foot-diameter fully curved 10 to 12K screen while dining, socializing, and celebrating with friends. Cosm has a customized and catered experience for anyone who walks through the door.
The two-story Hall experience connects shared reality with bringing you to your favorite live sporting event – consider it the ultimate viewing party experience with the energy of the game itself.
With all that is happening in Inglewood, the Deck could be the best place to step outside the shared reality experience, while sipping a cocktail next to one of the Deck’s firepits as you enjoy the colors of a California sunset.
CH ANGE IS HERE
Between the Hollywood Park Casino to the Los Angeles Rams, the Hollywood Park District itself, the Los Angeles Chargers, the Los Angeles Clippers, and Cosm, it is evident that the “City of Champions” is bustling with economic activity once again. The sights and sounds of Inglewood will only get brighter and louder as we work toward the many mega events to come to the area, including the 2026 Wold Cup and the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Positive change in Inglewood is happening at an enormous rate. As Mayor Butts always says, “The only thing that is changing in Inglewood is EVERYTHING.”

FROM OUR OUTGOING BOARD CHAIR
During my tenure as Board Chair for the LAX Coastal Chamber of Commerce over the past year, I have witnessed a remarkable evolution within our organization. Together, as a cohesive team, we have advanced toward a future marked by sustained growth, broader outreach, and heightened impact. Building upon the groundwork laid by previous leaders, we have diligently pursued the vision set forth by President/ CEO Chad Maender and the Chamber team. Our collective efforts have been dedicated to enhancing the vitality of our business community and fostering opportunities for local enterprises, a central objective that I aimed to realize during my tenure. Notably, our successful launch of the Chamber’s rebranding initiative, featuring a fresh logo and an informative new website, stands as a testament to our commitment to innovation and community engagement.
Central to our mission has been the integration of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) principles into all facets of our operations. We have forged impactful partnerships with organizations dedicated to advancing DEIA, ensuring that these values are deeply embedded within the fabric of our Chamber. As we look ahead, our resolve to champion DEIA initiatives only grows stronger, as we strive to make it an intrinsic part of the Chamber’s identity and mission.
Our accomplishments extend beyond symbolic gestures, as evidenced by a significant surge in membership numbers and the establishment of strategic alliances that have expanded the Chamber’s influence across various sectors of Los Angeles. Leveraging the innovative ideas of our members, we have fortified our resources and operations to accommodate future growth and deliver impactful programs to the business community. The success of our committees, reflected in record-breaking event attendance and enhanced support for small businesses through innovative sponsorship levels, underscores our commitment to excellence and inclusivity. As we pass the torch to our incoming Board Chair and dear friend, Maria Canchola, I am confident that the Chamber will continue its upward trajectory, forging new connections, expanding its membership base, and amplifying the voice of our business community under her leadership.

what’s happening on century blvd.?
Each year, 84.9 million passengers travel through Southern California, with Century Blvd. acting as their first and last impression of Los Angeles. Situated in close proximity to the airport, Century Blvd. also boasts convenient access to the sports and entertainment venues in Inglewood. Notably, this major boulevard has been undergoing substantial renovations in anticipation of welcoming even more visitors from around the world to Los Angeles.
Century Blvd., dubbed “the Gateway to Los Angeles”, is home to the largest concentration of hotel rooms in the City of Angels. These hotels, conveniently located near LAX, SoFi Stadium, Kia Forum, YouTube Theater, and Intuit Dome, are preparing for FIFA, the Olympics and Paralympic Games, and the Super Bowl and the excitement around the upcoming events is palpable.
The hotels on Century Blvd. offer more than just a place to stay. They have transformed into entertainment hubs themselves, featuring trendy
rooftop bars, contemporary restaurants, relaxing pools, and breathtaking views. But these offerings are not just for our out-of-town guests to enjoy. Century Blvd. has become popular with SoCal residents looking for staycation spots or evening and weekend attractions.
The Westin Los Angeles Airport is one of a select few hotels in the country to offer Topgolf Swing Suites on site. Our sport-crazed travelers will most certainly enjoy this immersive social experience offering guests a comfy lounge atmosphere to play games and enjoy fantastic food and beverage service. With three bays, each with a massive screen and a selection of exciting virtual games, the Topgolf Swing Suite delivers a one-of-a-kind simulation that‘s fun for all ages, golfers and non-golfers alike. Games range from Zombie Dodgeball to Kicking Penalty Kicks in Soccer, and Baseball to playing golf on legendary courses.
The recently redesigned Renaissance Los Angeles Airport Hotel offers quiet rooms with views of LAX, a trendy lounge with a signature cocktail
and live tunes from local musicians with Evenings at Renaissance. Or if our Los Angeles visitors are looking for runway views and unparalleled plane spotting opportunities, the rooftop deck at boutique LAX airport, H Hotel Los Angeles is the place to be. The Hyatt House rooftop bar is another one not to be missed, with amazing views of LAX and the Hollywood Hills. LAX in focus: recent airport milestones
Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) is elevating guests’ experiences by bringing together efficiency, thoughtful design, and unexpected delights.
To provide incredible guest journeys from star t to finish, LAWA is working in close partnership with the community and local businesses, creating new economic pathways for residents from the airport’s surrounding neighborhoods and greater Los Angeles. Read more about LAX’s latest transformation milestones below and at lawa.org.
Tom Bradley International Terminal Vertical Core Opens
The new “front door” to Tom Bradley International Terminal recently opened following a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by Mayor Karen Bass, Councilwoman Traci Park, L AWA executives, City of LA officials, Board of Airport Commissioners (BOAC), representatives from the project’s design and construction team, and community stakeholders. The project is one of seven Terminal Vertical Cores opening in phases across the airport’s Central Terminal Area and represents a step forward in LAWA’s mission to enhance connectivity across the airport. Each of the Terminal Vertical Cores create multi-level travel options via escalators, elevators, and stairs, linking passengers to concessions, baggage dropoff and pick-up, restrooms, and other offerings.
The newest project isn’t just about modernized facilities; it’s about community, sustainability and progress. Targeting Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Silver and CalGreen cer tifications, the infrastructure showcases LAX’s dedication to sustainability and resilience. Importantly, it created economic opportunities for Angelenos, with nearly 30% of the project team joining from the local workforce.
Midfield Satellite Concourse (MSC) South Tops Out
Approximately seven months after its groundbreaking, LAX’s MSC South celebrated its Topping Out, a milestone that marked the placement of the project’s final structural beam. MSC South is an extension of the West Gates at Tom Bradley International Terminal, adding approximately 150,000 square feet and eight gates for narrowbody aircraft.
Utilizing a first-of-its-kind construction technique called Offsite Construction and Relocation (OCR), MSC South is being built in nine segments roughly a mile and a half away from the project’s site. Once complete, these segments will be carefully delivered and assembled in place. The OCR technique is both innovative and adaptive, saving public funds and time with a high degree of building control and supervision. This progressive building method allows LAWA and the project team to achieve the project’s rapid schedule without sacrificing design excellence or precision.
LuLu’s Place Breaks Ground
As one of many visionary projects that are a par t of L AX‘s modernization, LuLu‘s Place recently achieved a key milestone when it broke ground at a ceremony attended by Mayor Karen Bass, Councilwoman Traci Park, Supervisor Holly J. Mitchell, BOAC President Karim Webb, LAWA CEO John Ackerman, LAWA executives and staff, community leaders, students, and project par tners. LuLu‘s Place would not have been possible without the Kimmelman Family Foundation and all the incredible stakeholders who share in the vision to create an athletics and education-focused hub for the community.
With 31 acres just north of LAX being developed into tennis courts, soccer fields, a multi-purpose field, volleyball cour ts, basketball cour ts, an education center, playground, dog park, and picnic area, LAWA looks forward to welcoming students and their families to our backyard.
Access Every Terminal Post-Security
Since the summer of 2023, ticketed passengers and airport employees have enjoyed unimpeded pedestrian access across LAX’s terminals and the ability to conveniently journey between Terminals 1 and 8 postsecurity. This new airside connectivity provides access to connecting flights and an abundant collection of offerings including food and beverage vendors, shopping and entertainment experiences, lounges, children‘s play areas, pet relief stations, and more.
LAX Showcases Diverse Talents of Local and Regional Artists
Newly installed artworks add to the travel experience for passengers. Featuring a variety of mediums and themes – from nature to history to human experiences – the works add to a collection of 23 temporary and 10 permanent installations across the airport. These diverse artistic offerings enrich the physical spaces of the terminals while embodying the vibrant cultural tapestry of Los Angeles itself. As travelers embark on their journeys or return home, they are invited to pause, reflect, and engage with the stories and creativity present in each work.
LAWA’s Contracting Model Sets Inclusivity Records
A groundbreaking moment for LAWA and its dedication to creating new and lasting economic pathways for local, diverse, veteran, small, and
micro-businesses was recently achieved through a Program Services Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) of nearly $1 billion in contracting value. The selected MATOC partners represent the most diverse group ever with a historic number of first-time and new-to-LAWA par ticipants included.
Through this and future opportunities, LAWA continues to support equitable economic growth and resiliency in Los Angeles and the greater Southern California region. Learn more about how to partner with LAWA at lax.to/LAWABusinessDashboard.
HireLAX Continues to Create Career Opportunities for Angelenos
HireLAX is a core pillar of LAWA’s commitment to fostering community growth and economic opportunities through its multi-billion-dollar, campus-wide transformation. Since 2017, the program has created lifechanging opportunities for Angelenos through a free, eight-week training that teaches participants how to become union construction workers. To date, HireLAX participants’ collective earnings exceed $17.5 million.
This spring, the program celebrated the graduation of its 425th preapprentice and 19th cohort. To learn more about the program, view more testimonials from graduates, and see upcoming orientation dates, visit flyLAX.com/HireLAX.

Plan your meeting at VisitMDR.com
Elevate your next meeting in Marina del Rey, L.A.’s favorite seaside playground. Seven resort-style waterfront hotels and dozens of dockside restaurants strike the perfect balance between Los Angeles’s chic sophistication and SoCal’s coastal style – all just four miles from LAX.
