Eppley Airfield is Nebraska’s largest airport.

B is for Boys Town.

That means we should be kind to each other.

C is for the Omaha Children’s Museum.

Here, you can explore, research, imagine and play.

You can be a nurse, artist or take an x-ray.

D is for the Durham Museum.

This art deco building was once Omaha’s bustling Union Station.

Come tour a train and learn about Native American civilization.

For my sons, Sam and Elliott, who love the ABCs.

Ashlee Coffey can probably recite “The Cat In the Hat” from memory.

Since becoming a mom, children’s books are mostly what she reads, and her dream of becoming an author has been fulfilled with this book. Since 2015, she’s been the editor of parenting website Momaha.com.

In her spare time she likes painting, crafting, writing, organizing and eating tacos (her favorite food). She lives in Omaha with her husband, Kevin, their two children, Sam and Elliott, and two cats.

Matt has been drawing as long as he could hold a pencil and paper.

He has spent his life filling his brain with cartoons, comic books, films, books and movies. While studying fine art and film at UNL, Matt discovered people could draw for newspapers and they would actually pay you for it. He draws every day, no matter what, never acquired a taste for coffee and is still sort of afraid of ventriloquist dummies.
