ABOUT THE CONFERENCE The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering of SKCET is organizing the National Conference on Communication Technology Interventions for Rural and Social Development (NCCTIRD 2017) on 10th March 2017. The one day programme will consist of Paper presentations, Poster presentations, Expert talk and Panel discussion. OBJECTIVES The primary goal of NCC-TIRD-2017 is to promote research and development activities in Communication Technology Interventions for Rural and Social Development in India and rest of the world. NCC-TIRD 2017 aims to bring together researchers and scientists from academia, industry, and research laboratories to present new results and identify future research directions in innovative Communications techniques and its applications. This naturally facilitates sustained research and exchange of ideas in the various areas. ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT The Department of Electronics and Communication is committed to provide the state-of-art technical education to the tomorrow’s technocrats through dedicated quality teaching. The department is also accredited by NBA-AICTE and it strives to provide ample opportunity to the students for exploring and exploiting new avenues in the field of ECE. The department has excellent Infrastructure facilities with highly qualified and devoted faculty members having specialization in the areas like VLSI & Embedded systems, Image Processing, Medical Electronics, Network Security, Wireless Communication, Signal Processing, Grid Computing, etc. Our students are recruited by companies like CTS, Infosys, Wipro, HCL etc.
