3-BAND is provided with three different ultrasound frequencies: 1, 2 and 3 Mhz. Each frequency is usable independently and also combined with the other ones. Each ultrasound frequency is absorbed in a different way from each cellular layer. 1 MHz ultrasound is deeper than the other ones and generally gets in touch with deepest tissues such as tendons and bone or big muscles; 2 MHz ultrasound is a middle frequency and it is useful for treating muscles or small articulations; 3 MHz ultrasound is suitable for treating the most superficial tissues and small joints.
