Unfocused (or radial) shock-waves therapy are useful for treating superficial parts such as muscles or for performing treatment over the trigger and/or tender points. Often, during each application, it is useful to combine controlled focused mode for deepest tissues to unfocused (radial) mode for stimulating local vasodilation and reducing pain.

Shock-waves emission is keeping homogeneous for few centimetres and those linear shock-.waves are useful for performing treatment over cellulite. Blood flow is improving, local vascolarization, molecular destabilization of trigliceridis are made thanks to the cavitation action of shock-waves.

PATENTED SHOCK-WAVES TRANSMISSION: DEEP IN ACTION AND PATIENT’S COMFORT by the R&S laboratories of Elettronica Pagani, is made by a special chamber where shock-wave is generated, controlled and delivered outside from the applicator to the patient thanks to a special membrane which gets in touch with patient’s skin where energy density is transmitted over a quite large area and is keeping around the same area for 4-4,5 cm inside the different soft tissues.

Treatments of cellulite and localised fat A special linear applicator along with unfocused applicator are available for performing treatments over cellulite and localised fat. Shock-waves produce a pressure wave that passes through the skin and fat to impact the fibrous septae. Pressure breaks up the collagen of the septae and releases the skin, allowing a smoother surface. Shock-waves provoke vibration of connective tissue, improves appearance of the skin, increases elasticity.
