Artists SK3 Doshy (Rwina/Planet Mu - GER) Berlin’s own Doshy is heralded the “missing link” between the UK’s and Germay’s Dubstep scenes. Perfectly fusing deep bass wobbles with raw breakcore beats and tense synth lines, it is of no surprise that this internationally acclaimed artist has found some of his biggest fans to include the likes of Flying Lotus and The Gaslampkiller. Expect nothing but a pure class performance from the performer who is about to be the next to release his Hornets EP on Rwina Records.
Stagga (Rwina/Rag & Bone - UK) Shooting high with a host of support that includes Raffertie, Strakey and N Type, Stagga (Rob Stagg) is truly climbing his way through the Dubstep world with his productions that boast both pedigree and quality. Originally making his trade by Hip-Hop production, now his shows concentrate attitude and rawness into a performances that are as impressive as they are fierce. And with a collaboration with Doshy that is going to be released on his latest Hornets EP, big things are on their way for this young man.
Taz Buckfaster (Rwina/Numbers - UK) With a sound that smashes Bass, Dubstep and Grime all together into one show-stopping sound that has been praised by the likes of Hudson Mohawke, Rustie, and Mary Anne Hobbs, Taz Buckfaster (Tarik Cherkaoui) comes hailing from Glasgow (UK). Having been with Rwina from the very beginning, he brings with him an electronic rawness that is ripping dancefloors apart and building them back up with skill and style.
Akkachar (Rwina/NL) As Rwina Record’s owner, Akkachar (Chafik Chennouf) has much to be proud about. Being the scout of the evening’s talent on display, he puts forward his own brand of “hyper colour beats” to Green Room that doesn’t shy away from taking its listener on a musical trip through a massive array of progressive electronic sounds and rhythm.
3
Krampfhaft (Rwina - NL) Utrecht’s own Krampfhaft (Joris van Grunsven) makes his third visit to Green Room with his own branded stylings of on-the-egde music. Packing his productions with energetic rolling synths and speedy drum beats, the essence of his hyperactivity and perfectionism shines through with a force and power that has granted him support from the likes of Starkey, Daedelus, Om Unit and The Gaslampkiller.
SK2 T.Williams (Ramp Recordings - UK) Finding his way from Grime into the House scene, London’s T. Williams (Tesfa Williams) explores his new arena with intelligence and attention. Merging stripped-down percussion and bull-dozing rhythm sections with crunchy synths and twisted vocals, Williams sets himself apart from his counterparts as a multi-disciplined and dynamic producer in the world of progressive music.
Presk (Fourth Wave - NL) Pioneering a sound that blends the melodic marriage between House, Techno, Garage and Dubstep all together with warm and full bass, it seems that Presk (Pieter Willems) is as skillful as he is cunning in his music choices. His reputation for such talent has earned him the privilege of releasing his own FACT Magazine Mix for December 2011. Recently he was crowned winner of the “Grote Prijs van Nederland” in their Dance Producer category. Such opportunities only go to so few - it would seem that he is earning every second of it.
Sakka (Rwina - NL) Sakka has been a die hard collector of House music from the early Detroit/Chicago House outlets of the late 90s. Since 2000 he started branching out into the 2-Step/Garage and UK Techno. Once making his fame as a Techno DJ under a different alias, now Sakka combines all these styles to create banging sets that play host to sounds coming from House to Minimal or from Chicago to Garage.

Artists SK3 Scratcha DVA (Hyperdub Records, UK) Scratcha DVA (Leon Smart) is pretty much involved in everything to do with today’s British underground electronic music scene. When plucked by Kode9’s forward thinking imprint “Hyperdub” for his release ‘Natty’, Scratcha was introduced to a new audience as a funky producer. But to limit him to one sound would be an injustice, as his production CV extends back further to grime where he has worked with luminaries including Wiley. Scratcha has also launched a new moniker “Soule Power”, his most sunshine infused alter ego - ‘Just Vybe’ feat. Fatima is of the Bugz In The Attic ilk - but what unites all three of these monikers is the attitude and energy which keeps ravers jacking throughout the night. His most recent work, a full-length album forthcoming on Hyperdub Records called “Pretty Ugly”, will see its release on March 19th. A heavyweight act not to be missed.
Halp (Lowriders Records, NL) Diversity of genuine creative talent is hard come by in its purest form, but Halp (Thomas de Rijk) knows exactly how to set the pace. Being both an audiovisual designer and music producer, he has been opening his own doors to his future. Hailing in from Rotterdam’s Lowriders collective, his latest release “Tic Tac Toe” combines an intelligent blend of detroit house, bass, future music and 808 swingbeat rhythm, and includes powerful remixes by Krampfhaft and Starkey. Simply put - a future talent of great proportions.
Alexander Valentijn (Frenchtoast Soundsystem, NL) Raw musical talent and understanding is what all inspiring producers need above all things, and for Alexander Valentijn it is nothing but another day’s work. With so many cross-over genres in his repertoire that span over House, Acid, Garage and Electronica, Valentijn’s flow and intuition is without reproach. With this in mind, it is of no surprise that a big name like Julio Bashmore is already backing his music.
Lantei (Green Room, NL) After having been on the Amsterdam scene for the last few years as a low key music head, Lantei (Greg Boye) has found his sound as a versatile and knowledgeable DJ. With his roots in everything from UK Bass and Berlin Techno to Hiphop and Future Funk, his performances as one of Green Room’s newest residents don’t shy away from making a memorable set.
3
Inuk (Green Room, NL) Perhaps as one of the more enigmatic young DJs around right now, Inuk (Zowi Mens) found his sound by venturing Amsterdam’s underground nightlife for several years and has now become resident DJ at Green Room and the newly formed project “Rots”. As he got influenced by a diverse spectrum of sounds ranging from older IDM, LA Beats and early Dubstep to the more recent Techno and Bass developments, he delivers deep and propelling sets bound by the element of surprise.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------SK2 Henzel & Disco Nova (Vage Gasten, NL) With only four years of DJing under their belts, the impression that Hans Henzel and Nova Duijn have left on the Netherlands is nothing short of astonishing. Rising through the ranks of Amsterdam-based creative platform “Vage Gasten”, their sound has stretched the boundaries of techno and electro music towards a new Future Techno dynamic. With a back catalogue of huge festival and club performances combined with their dabbling into remixing and production, their presence and pedigree as one of 22tracks’ contributors is deservingly personified through their energetic sets.
Kristof (Green Room, UK) Kristof’s cunning blend of deep and edgy techno rhythm with a cutting drive has led him to becoming one of Amsterdam’s most promising forces in the city’s dance movement today. Taking inspiration from the dark and high-powered pulse that this sound has come to represent, he has truly defined his own stunning brand of Tectronic music. As SK2’s resident DJ, his performance promise to leave its mark on you.
Cursed P (Little Globe Records, NL) Making his debut appearance at Green Room, Cursed P (Willem van der Ploeg) brings his own vitality and experience as a DJ and record label owner. At the beginning of 2011, he started his own record label ‘Little Globe Records’. His own little world focuses on new electronic talent in electronic music, with the most recent release “Virgo Intacto” by Amateur having remixes made by Ike Ratio and Riptide. With such an eye in the future of electronic music, Cursed P’s diversity and knowledge is one that stands amongst the greats.

ROOM I _LOCKED
GROOVE (Hotflush | Turbo, BE)
Belgium producer Locked Groove (Tim van de Meutter) has found his own brand of deep and rhythmic music, combining elements from House, Techno and Bass. Moving forward with a versatile and unique sound demonstrates his intellect and maturity in the field, even despite being only 23. So much so that his productions have given him critical acclaim, with releases on Scuba’s Hotflush Recordings and his latest remix of Renaissance Man’s “Stalker Humanoid” on Tiga’s infamous Turbo Recordings and another EP on the way. With plays from industry luminaries such as Boys Noize, Gesaffelstein, Proxy and Azari & Ill, seeing him in the Netherlands for the first time is an opportunity not to be missed!
_PRESK (Nachtwerk | Fourth Wave | Audio Culture) Pioneering a sound that blends the melodic marriage between House, Techno, Garage and Dubstep all together with warm and full bass, it seems that Presk (Pieter Willems) is as skillful as he is cunning in his music choices. His reputation for such talent has earned him former privileges such as releasing his own FACT Magazine Mix for December 2011, and being crowned winner of the “Grote Prijs van Nederland” in their Dance Producer category. Such opportunities only go to so few - it would seem that he is earning every second of it.
_AWANTO 3 (Rush Hour | Voyage Direct) Though he’s more commonly known as Steven de Peven from Rednose District, which he runs together with fellow Amsterdam DJ/producer Aardvarck, he’s taking his already experimental take on music performances to new grounds with this alter ego by showing a surprisingly effective combination between House and Chicago Juke. Together with Tom Trago he has brought forth multiple releases on the world famous label Rush Hour through their House project Alfabet. Hailed as an underground hero of Amsterdam, he has been involved with many cultural instances and festivities as well as big club nights like Colors at 5 Days Off 2011, proving to be an unmistakable addition to the night.
