"The Parable of the Glass House" is an architectural comic that imagines an alternative history in which global events force Philip Johnson to rethink how he lives in his decadent modernist masterpiece. It is an exercise that explores the role of visual narrative and imagined futures in the design process.
"The Parable of the Glass House" was created during an Independent Study. It was published in "Testing to Failure: Design & Research in MIT’s Dept. of Architecture." (SA+P Press, 2011) and "Little t, Vol. 09" (MIT Dept. of Architecture, 2010); and exhibited at the AIA Center for Emerging Professionals Annual Exhibit (AIA National, D.C., 2013), and "Get it Louder Exhibition" (Beijing, 2014).
