Hartman Rock Garden

FOLK ART MASTERPIECE

The Hartman Rock Garden includes over 250,000 individual stones that combine a mixture of history, religion and depression-era pop culture. Among the Hartman Rock Garden’s many unique attributes, the sheer scale of the work and its contextual location in a residential neighborhood, contributes greatly to its status as an iconic “outsider” art site. Heritage Center Museum Local History Museum Loaded With Artifacts

The spectacular City Building & Market built in 1890 is now home to the Heritage Center Museum. Extending an entire city block, the Heritage Center houses an extraordinary museum that faithfully recounts the history of America’s Heartland. East High Street Historic District

MANSIONS ALONG MILLIONAIRE’S ROW

A cluster of mansions on the eastern side of Springfield once home to some of its most prominent residents. Still together along portions of East High are examples of prominent late-19thcentury architectural styles, including the Richardsonian Romanesque, the Renaissance Revival, and the Italianate styles. While other neighborhoods once possessed similar collections of styles in close proximity to each other, East High is distinguished because its mix of styles has survived to the present day, unlike that of many other neighborhoods.

Clark State Performing Arts Center

Built in 1993, the awardwinning Clark State Performing Arts Center is situated on 5.5 acres in downtown Springfield, Ohio. The 86,000 square foot facility houses rental space that is designed and equipped to accommodate musical performances, theatre presentations, conferences, business meetings and other activities. This 1500-seat state-of-theart- theater hosts a season of Broadway Tours, music groups, Illusionists, Country Music, and more. It is the home of the Springfield Symphony Orchestra and the Springfield Arts Council. 
