Christy Carpenter Chewning

I want to live my life in such a way that when my feet hit the floor in the morning, satan shudders & says... "Oh no....she's awake!!" I am a mother of two, three if you count my wonderful husband, Scott. I love my time with my family. I am the Manager of Marketing Services at a local Electric Cooperative and volunteer on various Boards of worth-while organizations like the Life Choices Pregnancy Resource Center in Jackson. My husband Scott and I are experiencing life changes for God's glory. Scott has enrolled in seminary at 37 and we are listening to what path the Lord wants us to take with our ministry. I never thought I would be a preacher's wife, but I am well on my way I remember in college that was the last thing on earth I ever wanted to be. I also love singing. But more importantly using my voice to worship God. I can think of nothing better than to communicate, through song, my love for God and sing about his love for me. My life verse is Romans 12:1-2 ( The Message)
