t is an humbling experience to be associated with this sale of extraordinary Red Angus breeding cattle and the family enterprises that own them. Names of the greatest firms in the industry are included in the sale offering, and this inaugural event promises to be one of the breed’s most exciting and most comprehensive offerings of genetics to date in the breed. The sale is being held at the newly constructed headquarters of Christy Collin’s Las Rojas breeding operation. The land that will surround you on sale day is steeped in registered beef cattle history, and Christy’s ancestors were instrumental in producing some of the great Hereford genetics on this same location. The storied heritage of the sale site is a very fitting venue for this great Red Angus sale offering. The genetics that are offered outlined in this catalog will be among the breed leaders that are destined to help chart the course for the future of the breed. Decisions made at sale time will be among the most critical a breeder and prospective purchaser will make. The breeders and family organizations that are represented here are some of the greatest leaders in the industry. All have allowed the absolute top individuals from the perspective herds to be cataloged for this event. I owe a tremendous amount of gratitude for my journey and involvement in this great breed to my special friend and business associate, Christy Collins, Furthermore, all the breeder’s of the cattle that are included in the offering have been wonderful to work with in preparing for this great sale event. Welcome
I
Welcome to Las Rojas must first say thank you to the people that have supported our endeavors in the preparation for this sale event. A great deal of time has been spent preparing. I am pleased to welcome you to my home, that is located near our family farm and ranch headquarters, east of Frederick, Oklahoma, for this special two day event.
I believe whole heartedly in the future of the Red Angus breed. These cattle have a great deal to offer, not only to the purebred sector, but also to the composite and commercial industry. The registrations of Red Angus have continued to increase and I think we are on the front end of tremendous upward growth. We believe in cattle of phenotypic excellence. It is my belief that phenotypic traits, most importantly, include body volume, structure, udder quality and other non-measurable traits that lead to efficiency. In our business of composites and terminal crosses, we know that nothing good exists without a strong cow family. We know that without efficiency, longevity is hard to accomplish. We have developed a program around the strong cow families at Las Rojas. We are selling all of our best - nothing has been held back! We have brought a few other elite genetics to the table, that we feel are second to none, in terms of offering opportunity in this breed. These cattle are good no matter what color they are, or where you try to utilize them. They are sound and functional females and we plan to always keep it that way. I have continued to enjoy the cattle and the people of this breed. Without the help of U2 Ranch, Six Mile Red Angus, Sooline Cattle Co. and a few important others I would not have been able to accomplish what we have done in a short five years. I would also like to thank my friend Jason Scheetz who traveled with me on our first trip to Sooline and Six Mile and has given me the support and encouragement to keep going. I am pleased to be working with my long time friend and associate Keith Kissee. Keith taught me many things about the seedstock business and could not have been nicer when I was just getting started. He knows the business like no other and he will be glad to help you with any part of the sale or with your buying decisions. Other special thanks goes to Lloyd Doublehead for joining us and the time he has spent here. His knowledge and ability is invaluable and we greatly appreciate his efforts and confidence. Also special thanks to Gates Fryer for all of his time and hard work. I would like to invite you to join us for the hospitality on Sunday, October 19th, followed by a tremendous offering of rare and unique genetics on Monday, October 20th at noon. We will be glad to show you around and introduce you to our program. I am very pleased with this set of cattle. I think this is truly one of the best sets of females on paper and on hoof that I have had the pleasure to sell. Give us a call, text or email anytime!

Important Cow Families at Las Rojas SIX MILE LAKOTA 16W & SIX MILE LAKOTA 112Y - Lakota 16W is at the heart of our embryo program. Her sire, U2 Big League 7136T, is a bull that we are incorporating heavily into our program. He is deceased, his semen is rare in Canada and none can be imported to the US. Lakota 16W was our first major purchase into the breed and special thanks goes to Six Mile Ranch and Clayton and Corrine Gibson for offering this female and her daughter Six Mile Lakota 112Y. Lakota 112Y went on to win the 2013 Reserve Six Mile Lakota 16W Champion honors at Denver. The first flush out of 16W generated the Jr. Calf Champion in Denver in 2014, the $38,000 ROJAS African Queen that sold to Kale Watchous. Polzin Cattle Co. purchased the first embryos sold out of 16W that resulted in PLZ Im Too Hot, featured as Lot 27. 16W’s embryos have averaged $1050. No more will be sold. - Lakota 112Y is a daughter of Six Mile Lakota 16W. She won her February class, as a calf, in the 2012 National Show and was Reserve Calf Champion at Fort Worth in 2012 as well. She went on the next year to claim Reserve Champion overall honors at Denver. The sire of 112Y, is Game Plan 816, that also sired the $66,000 Six Mile Game. - 112Y’s embryos are limited. There are six, that sell in this offering, and no more will be offered this year.
SOOLINE COUNTESS 6125 & SIX MILE COUNTESS 105Y
2010 National Champion Female Owned by Billy Estrada - Sooline Rainbow
2012 National Champion Female
- Most notably Countess 6125 is the dam of Six Mile Countess 105Y, the 2012 National Champion Female. - 6125 was noted, at Sooline, as generating top sellers in her first three natural calves. She raised three bull calves at Sooline, with a life ratio of 109. One bull was slated to lead the Sooline Denver pen, prior to an unfortunate accident. Her fourth natural calf was Six Mile Countess 105Y, the 2012 US National Champion Female. The sire of 6125 is Rebel 102N, he is deceased with no remaining semen. Rebel was one of the highest bulls ever sold at Agribition to Sooline. - Countess 105Y was purchased with Safari Cattle Co. in 2011 from Six Mile. She has three exciting daughters selling as Lots 20, 21 and 35. - Countess 6125 is owned with Six Mile Ranch.
U2 MOONBEAM 194W - U2 Moonbeam 194W was another cow that was “love at first sight.” 194 has a real presence, with lots of style and balance. - 194W produced Moonbeam 243Z, as her second calf. 243Z was named the 2013 National Calf Champion Female. Full sib embryos to Moonbeam 243Z commanded over $1000 in the 2013 Canadian Red Round Up and sold to Robb Farms, Maidstone, Sask. - 194 is owned with U2 Ranch, Darren and Joann Unger.
Owned by Safari Cattle Co. - John & Angie Graves Six Mile Countess 105Y
2013 Calf Champion Female Owned by Safari Cattle Co. - John & Angie Graves U2 Moonbeam 243Z
U2 BEAUTY 113Z - U2 Beauty 113Z was another exceptional heifer calf that was purchased in the fall of 2012 at U2 Ranch. She is a daughter of U2 Mama’s Boy 167X. She was another “knock your socks off” female when we first saw her in the U2 summer pastures in British Columbia. She is tremendously stout boned, dark cherry red and super hairy. She is currently residing at Davis Rairdon through the winter of 2014. Her first calves will be featured in two years.
2013 Reserve Champion Female Six Mile Lakota 112Y
JCC ELORA 45S - Elora 45S came from the noted Levi Jackson herd in Saskatchewan. The Elora line produced many good cattle and was a noted family in the Sooline herd. Elora 45S produced the Mastermind daughter 144Y that was named our 2013 Reserve Champion Female at Fort Worth. An exception set of Indeed daughters out of 45S sell in this offering, plus a super show heifer candidate, sired by Hamley. These heifers sell as Lots 31, 32 and 33.
GEIS LOIS 166 - Geis Lois 166 is a foundation cow for the Rainbow herd in northern Alberta. We went to Rainbow seeking the U2 Big League 7136T daughter, Lois 13Z, that ended up the high seller in the 2012 Canadian Red Round Up sale. 13Z was a daughter of 166 so we decided to invest in the cow family. We are currently flushing Lois 166 at Davis Rairdon in Canada. They are tremendous bodied and extra stout. Special thanks to our partners Rainbow Red Angus.

Rare Semen Offering
Maternal - Color - Quality - Low Birth
U2
Mama’s Boy 167x
Lot 121 to 145 Selling the First US Semen on 167X Selling 120 Units in Packages of 5 Units Each - U2 Mama’s Boy 167X is owned by U2 Ranch and Y-Coulee Land and Cattle. - It takes a couple of calf crops for the true value of a great herd bull to begin to emerge. The evidence of the success of U2 Mama’s Boy began in the summer of 2012 when we first saw the U2 calf crop and a special individual stuck out, U2 Beauty 113Z. We will transfer the first embryos on her this coming spring in the US. 113Z was produced with very little Mama’s Boy semen being used that year at U2. The next year our pick of the heifer calves was U2 Money Honey 278A, also sired by Mama’s Boy, she won her class at the National Western and was purchased in her entirety by Victoria Watchous. In 2012, Mama’s Boy sired U2 Justified, a top selling bull in the 2013 bull sale to Bar-E-L. - The greatest value of Mama’s Boy, are the impressive two year old daughters that are making beautiful young cows. They continue to rave about their udder quality and milking ability. They are moderate and efficient. - This past summer we went back to U2 to select heifer calves for this sale offering and not surprisingly, three of the five were sired by Mama’s Boy. - With our program, placing added value on, not only, phenotype but capacity, useful frame size and structure, this bull seems to be indicative of where we are headed. Mama’s Boy will be collected in Billings before sale time and will then return to Canada. The American semen will only be sold once a year in this sale. Absolutely no other American semen will be released. - Mama’s Boy should work tremendously well to add body, power, a good hip and hind leg and of course increasing the chance of the dark red color and good hair.
Sired by U2 Mama’s Boy 167X She sells as Lot 21

Commercial Heifers
Lots 100 - 118
Hoo Doo Branded & Raised Selling 54 Head of Open Heifers in Groups of Three Red Angus x Charolais
All of these heifers sell!
O
ur involvement in the Kris Black program, an outfit that was a pioneer in establishing Charolais cross genetics in the club calf business, led us to our knowledge and respect of the Hoo Doo cattle. Today, Charolais genetics are a very important part to this industry. The Hoo Doo females have been some of the most productive and successful cattle in the club calf and commercial Photographed business. They have produced more champions in Texas than any other line of Charolais cattle. These cattle also carry a good deal of reputation among commercial cattlemen across the country. These Hoo Doo raised and branded females are 50% Red Angus and 50% Charolais. They were brought out of Wyoming by Tusa Cattle and Priest Genetics. They were the younger heifers off the Hoo Doo ranch in 2013. They are open and ready to breed. They are yellow and solid red in color. These heifers have been rigidly sorted. They will work nicely in an AI operation or be standout heifers in a commercial outfit.
on September 27th - Their value will increase greatly by next spring. These heifers are big bodied, good footed and stout ribbed. They are moderate framed. - On September 25th they averaged 900 lbs. - The heifers will be sorted into groups of three and tagged accordingly. Videos will be available on each group. - The heifers will be at the sale facility for viewing on sale week. Contact Jacob Tusa at (979) 324-9326 for more information.
A Word About the Red Angus Offering.... - Special thanks goes to Darren and Joann Unger of U2 Ranch for their confidence, and for allowing us to bring this powerful set of cows on a trip that spanned over 24 hours to the states. These cows are powerful to say the least. Most interestingly, we are selling five tremendous heifer prospects from U2 and full interest in four of their dams. This is an unprecedented opportunity in genetic ability and of rare breed genetics. To have this many good Canadian genetics in one spot in the U.S. is a never before event. - I also want to thank Donnell and Kelli Brown of RA Brown Ranch and the Shuey Family in Iowa for being a part and contributing
what we think are three powerful donor dams that will also sell in their entirety. We have know these families and they bring tremendous reputation as well as being long time Red Angus breeders. Also to Tony and Edie Tolar of the Tolar Family for being one of the great and supporters of the breed. - You will also find embryo selections from leading breeders like Six Mile Ranch, John and Angie Graves, Dan Leddy and Polzin Cattle Co. Polzin Cattle Co. is an outfit that is also supportive of our annual Embryos on Snow Sale Event in Denver. We look forward to our new partners in this set of females.
Donor Dam Brown Ranch
Paradises Mulberry
W7
Lot 1 - Brown Paradise’s Mulberry W7 is one of the greatest females from one of the respected American cow families available in the Red Angus gene pool. Few breed’s of beef cattle have as outstanding and accomplished cow families as the Brown MS Abigail and Brown MS Abigrace families that have made such an overwhelming positive impact on the breed. Among the most significant breeding pieces that have been created at the RA Brown Ranch, Brown Paradise’s Mulberry W7 is one of the most remarkable. - The powerful individual was campaigned in the junior programs of Tucker and Lanham Brown before she earned the right to be called a donor female in the RA Brown program. She is one of the most eye-appealing females in the breed. The dark red, perfectly designed and excellently structured female has become masterfully accomplished in all aspects of the registered seedstock industry. - It is fitting that a female of this caliber sells as Lot 1 in this Las Rojas sale offering that is lined with great cattle. The genetic reach of this young donor female will write immense amounts of breed history as time goes forward. - This donor female sells ready to flush to the bull of buyer’s choice and fully guaranteed to be a multiple egg producer. She has been successfully flushed 3 times for a total of 11 embryos & will be flushed again prior to the sale to help the R.A. Brown Ranch in their herd rebuilding plan.

U2 Fly K
Dynamo 29U
The Cow to Lead Off this Powerful Donor Line Up from U2
Lot 2
- 29U leads the way in this powerful set of donor prospects from U2 Ranch in Coaldale, Alberta. If you notice, we tried to bring the dams of the best heifer calves that we selected as this year’s show prospects from U2. 29U also had a tremendous heifer calf at side by U2 TKO. She was extra stout and a definite standout. She would have been a leading heifer in our show string this winter. Unfortunately, she was injured in the chute prior to making the trip to the states. The decision was made to leave her behind but go ahead and send her mother. 29U was one of the hardest for Darren and JoAnn to part with, so the retaining of her daughter made it a little easier. - Inside her production record, 29U produced an $11,600 bull that sold to Majestic Ranches out of the U2 bull sale. - Big League 544 has generated some great females in Canada. He is also the sire of U2 Big League 7136T, the sire of our leading donor Six Mile Lakota 16W. We are continuing to use 7136T and his sons in the Canadian embryo program. - This daughter of Big League 544R is one of the stoutest and prettiest Red Angus females that you will find anywhere. We love the power and the hip in these cattle. They will produce stout cattle that have lots of performance without added frame. In the words of many good cattlemen, “You could shove most cows inside this one!” Here’s one heck of female that could headline any major program. 29U is owned by U2 SERVICE SIRE: U2 Reckoning Ranch. Daughter Sells in the Open Division
U2
Anexa 366W
Her daughter sells as featured open heifer Lot 21
Lot 3
- There are many good and powerful cows at U2 Ranch, so the idea of selecting a nice group to bring to the states wasn’t necessarily hard, but we wanted to bring cows that had some added value, based on past production. The decision was made to try to bring the dams of this years top heifer calves. 366W may be the dam of the best heifer calf that we have ever brought out of this herd. This cow is massive and beautiful uddered. She is up headed and has a big, square, powerful hip. She is without question a female that could be a donor dam to start or headline any Red Angus program. She has a solid, balanced set of numbers with low birth. - She is American bred on the top side, being a daughter of Mission Statement. Her dam contains many good families as well. Her maternal grand sire is out of the Anexa line of cows that has made such an impact at U2. - 366W is a young five year old and just entering the prime of her production. She produced a $6100 bull at U2 that sold to Top Land and Cattle. - Most excitingly this donor prospect is the mother of Lot 21 in the open heifer offering, U2 Dolly Python 263B. This heifer calf is tremendous and will headline our string at Denver. - 366W has the power to produce a valuable herd bull or flush her back to Mama’s Boy to make full sisters to this exciting 2014 show heifer. We can’t say enough about the possibility with this cow family. Try to find a cow that is bigger bodied and stouter with this much presence. It will be hard! She too sells likely bred to the $46,000 Reckoning. 366W is owned by U2 Ranch.

Ms Robo 47U
Powerful Young Donor Prospect Unique Canadian Pedigree
Lot 4
- Robo 47U was a cow that was easy to spot. She is a predominately Canadian pedigree and has an incredibly impressive heifer calf, sired by U2 TKO, that sells as Lot 25. She is definite donor material and her heifer calf has been a top pick by many early visitors. This cow could be a donor to build a program around. She is very correct, great uddered and very attractive. She too is huge bodied and powerful out her hip. There’s tons of quality in this female. She is a young five and prime to enter a donor program this spring. - Robo 47U produced a heifer calf that was selected by Silver Spur back in 2012. Another daughter was a top heifer retained by U2 and her 2014 heifer was picked by us to come to this sale event. - The top females in this offering will create a lot of buying competition and the fact that this many good cows sell, make it more of a buyers opportunity. We see this in sale after sale, when this many good cows are offered. - 47U sells likely bred to Protocol 22Z, the U2 Big League 7136T son that U2 purchased from Rainbow Red Angus. 7136T is the dam of the Las Rojas matriarch cow, Six Mile Lakota 16W. Very little semen exists on 7136T in Canada and none will ever be in the U.S. SERVICE SIRE: 47U is owned by U2 Ranch.

Ms Dynamo 28Y
Elite U2 and Canadian Pedigree Her and her Daughter Sell in their Entirety!
Lot 5
- Lot 5 has a lot of good cattle in her pedigree. She is a daughter of U2 Mission Impossible 150W that sold for $14,000 to Daryl Logeot. He was a son of U2 Anexa 09E, a cow that has likely been one of the most important dams in the U2 herd. Anexa 09E weaned 18 calves in 17 years of natural production only. She is the mother of around 10 herd bulls, that sold to leading breeders, including Dynamo, Artillery, Mission Impossible and many others. - 28Y is a dark cherry red cow that has tremendous capacity and rib. She is stout boned and very attractive. One of the most impressive things about some of the Canadian cattle is the stout powerful hip that they possess and this cow is certainly no exception to that trait. She is a cow that would make a cornerstone donor for any herd. - 28Y is another U2 dam that is sporting a great heifer calf that will also sell as Lot 26. This heifer calf has turned many heads and she will make a great show heifer and donor as well. She has the dark color of her dam and the power of her sire. - 28Y sells bred to one of two leading U2 sires. Mission 61W needs no introduction, and 423Y was a son of the great 5F cow, that produced Icon, that sold for $14,000 half interest to Wards. Icon produced INXS and Infinite that sold to Semex. Infinites global semen sales reached 35,000 units in 2007. 28Y is owned by U2 Ranch. SERVICE SIRE: Contact Darren or Joann Unger at U2 Ranch anytime. U2 Ambush 423Y (403) 345-2333.

Anexa 396X
Beautiful Design and Tremendous Power A Leading U-2 Selection
Lot 6
- Anexa 396X had a tremendous bull calf on her at U2 Ranch this year. She was one of the cows selected from the pastures of pairs with bull calves. - She comes from the Anexa cow family line and this Lot has been an early favorite to many visitors. She is extra long fronted and very eye appealing. She could have easily lead off this offering. 396X is without question a female that could be a major and leading donor dam for any program. There is tremendous power in her phenotype and her pedigree as well. Over four generations of U2 breeding line her dam’s pedigree. - 396X produced a top selling U2 bull calf in 2013 to Grahams in Canada. This cow is a young four year old and her production history is yet to be written. - She sells likely bred to Reckoning 149A, the bull that sold for $46,000 that now calls Six Mile home. 396X is owned by U2 Ranch. Minola 8101U
Dark Red and One of the Most Impressive Young Females in the Country
Lot 7 - This was one of the first cows that I spotted at U2 this summer. She is a very dark red female, that has a great deal of look and style. She is upheaded, long necked and has a powerful rib shape. It’s hard to find females this good. To have one this stout, with this color, make’s her extra special. She has many good cattle in her pedigree and they include some of the most prominent herds in Canada. - 8101 has produced two bulls selling in the U2 Bull Sales, one top seller to Majestic Ranches in Jenner, Alberta and she left a good Mission 61W calf back in Canada this summer. - She sells likely bred to Protocol 22Z, the son of U2 Big League 7136T. 7136T produced the mother of the 2013 Denver Reserve Champion Female. No semen on 7136T is offered in Canada and very little exists, making the progeny of this young son exciting. - The chances of a dark red calf out of this cow, with extra good hair is highly possible. Really good dark cherry red females are hard to find and in big demand. - This female is beautiful. She will be easy to find and she is certainly an individual that could headline any program in the country. SERVICE SIRE: 8101U is owned by U2 Ranch.

Pride 377Y
Power Hip and Stoutness of Bone - From a Leading U-2 Cow Family
Lot 8
- The people that have seen this cow, since she arrived to the states in September, have made similar comments. “I’ve never seen a Red Angus with bone and a hip like that.” She was a little thin when they pictured her in Canada, but she is a real powerhouse. All of the U2 cows were pictured right off of grass. No feed and pampering! They came right from summer pastures into the picture pen. 377Y left a good 2014 bull calf at home sired by HOWE Magnum. She has a good balanced set of numbers and with nice BW to YW spread. 377Y is incredibly impressive in her structure and she has a long clean front end. More importantly, like all of the U2 cows selling, she has a very nice udder and still yet her cow family may be one of the most impressive of the cows selling. Her dam, U2 Pride 638S, produced a $20,000 half interest bull that sold to One Way Spain and Silver Spur Ranch. Another bull and maternal sib to this lot was a top seller to Manville Colony. This cow is from a potent cow family. Icon, her maternal grandsire, was a bull that had a photo that prompted my initial interest in U2. He was a dark red, long necked bull with stoutness of hip and hind leg. - The sire of Lot 8, Dynamo 7021T, has several head turning daughters at U2. We have a leading donor for Las Rojas in Canada that is a Mama’s Boy out of a Dynamo 7021T. Her name is Beauty 113Z. She is as stout as they come. SIRE OF LOT 8: 377Y is owned by U2 Ranch. Stormy 77X
From the Same Cow Family that Produced the Dam of U-2 Mission 61W
Lot 9
- Many people that have been early visitors, have picked out the January heifer calf out of this cow, as their favorite. She sells as Lot 24 and will be a tough contender this winter. - 77X is a maternal sister to a $12,000 bull that sold to Majestic Ranches in Canada. The maternal grand dam of this lot, U2 Stormy 205M, is also the dam of U2 Mission 61W. Making this cow from one of the most current and prominent cow families in the breed today. U2 Mission 61W has met with great success. His American semen rights were selected by Cheramie Viator for Silver Spur Ranches and he has produced many exciting daughters, including the popular U2 Moonbeam 243Z that was the 2013 Denver Calf Champion Female. - This female also sells likely bred back to U2 Mission 61W which would line up the Stormy 205M cow family. 205M is sire by U2 Wanted 917J, a bull that has also left many good daughters. Wanted was out of the important Anexa 48B cow family. - The sire of Lot 9 was U2 INXS, a son of Illicit. These are cattle that are good colored, stout and have the hip and hind leg that we are looking for. Lot 9 has a touch of added frame. She will sire growthy, high performing show heifers. She is beautiful fronted and has lots of shape and thickness. She would be a good candidate to flush back to U2 Mama’s Boy 167X. - Her exciting January heifer calf sells in the open division as Lot 24. She is a super sound, stout, powerhouse of an individual. She will be a very tough contender in the January calf classes. She is sire by U2 Maxim 168Z that is owned by Silver Spur and Don Brooks. 77X is owned by U2 Ranch. My good friends and partners John and Angie Graves helped me buy Six Mile Countess 105Y, out of Canada in 2011. She went on to win Denver and the Graves have flushed her extensively the last two years. She comes from a great cow family at Six Mile from the famed Sooline program. 6125, the grand dam of these heifers, resides at Six Mile as a leading donor. - Lot 20 is one of the most exciting heifer calves we have ever raised. Talk about color, hair and correctness. She is ideal frame size and big bodied. Her full sister, Lot 21 is hard to fault and will make a valuable replacement female after a nice show career. She has the body, rib and correctness just like her sister. - The sire of these two heifer calves, U2 Mission 61W, sired our 2013 Denver Calf Champion Female. - If you’ve come to play ball “Count Me In” is big time! Show or donor prospects these two heifers will add lots of value to any program. A maternal sister sells as Lot 35, Dam of Lots 20, 21 and 35 sired by Lazy MC Cowboy Cut. Six Mile Countess 105Y Owned by Safari Cattle Co.

Our Pick of the 2014 U2 Heifer Calves Sell Here - Nothing Held Back Her Dam Sells as Lot 3
Lot 22 - Selling Full Interest and Full Possession after the 2015 National Western unless otherwise negotiated. - Her dam sells as Lot 3. - U2 Dolly Python 263B is one of the stoutest heifer calves that we have obtained from U2 Ranch. The heifer calves that we have shown and sold out of U2 Ranch have garnered Calf Champion at Denver plus three additional class winners and a Reserve Division in just two years. - This heifer calf is everything that we have always strived for in any breed. She has tremendous body shape, ideal frame size, soundness and plenty of muscle. She possesses the structure and design that is second to none. Paint this heifer any color and she is still highly marketable. Her mass and body volume will be hard to top. She rolls all of this power into a smooth shoulder. She is feminine fronted and moves like a cat. - This heifer will be exciting in the show ring, but more importantly she will make a female that could be a top producer for any outfit. She has the power and defining uniqueness to headline any herd or be the starting foundation for a new program. This heifer is also the kind that could be the foundation for a Simmental or Charolais composite program. She would work well to many leading bulls of those breeds to add power and maternal characteristics. - When it comes to getting in the breed fast...GO BIG, OR GO HOME!

Our Pick of the 2014 U2 Heifer Calves Sell Here - Nothing Held Back
Lot 23
- Selling Full Interest and Full Possession after the 2015 National Western unless otherwise negotiated. - In the pastures at U2, 181B was a quick favorite. She was upheaded and tremendous bodied. She is out of a young two year old Cowboy Cut dam that put everything into her first heifer calf. I was very excited, to say the least, when we saw this heifer for the first time in July. I think by Denver this heifer will be hard to recon with in the February class. She is flawless in her structure, clean chested and good in her rib cage. She is very square out her hip, and while she won’t be the heaviest boned of her contemporaries, she is big footed, sound in her pastern and floats when she moves. She is one of the prettiest, most attractive head females in the group, another trait we really like about Mama’s Boy. This heifer is dark red in color and has good straight hair. - She is out of a cow family that goes back to a Triple SSS bred cow on the dams side and her grandam’s sire is HOWE Matrix, a bull that generated the high selling sire group in two U2 bull sales. - Pay attention here. This heifer will make a powerful contender come January and I think she will make an even more impressive bred heifer.

I think she will show very well in Denver this year if the new owner chooses. She will be highly competitive in the junior shows. She is a daughter of U2 Maxim 168Z that is owned by Don Brooks of Lubbock, TX and Silver Spur Ranches. 168Z has a great phenotype and lots of muscle shape. - 198B has been quickly picked out by many early visitors. She has a little added frame and she is very sound in her feet and legs. She moves great. She has a long, clean fronted and lots of body. - The chance to own both her and her dam are a great opportunity. This heifer calf would make a tremendous donor cow prospect as well. She has the power, the bone and the substance to generate a herd bull prospect. She’s really hard to fault. She is one of five heifers that we selected out of the large and impressive U2 2014 heifer calf crop. There is lots of value in this heifer calf. She is as stout as many good composite heifers. - Make sure to look up her dam, she sells as Lot 5. She is a dark red, heavy structured female. If there is a heifer that did not picture as good as we think she is, this would be her. “On A Mission 412B” is a younger April heifer calf that was the first ET calf out of 112Y. You know the success of Mission 61W. We think this heifer calf could look phenomenal next year as a bred heifer. She is running in tough company with her older February and March contemporaries. She is balanced and smooth made. She has the body and muscle shape of her mother. She is good boned and long fronted. 412B will show and make a tremendous female to add back into any progressive herd. - This cow family typifies what we would like to accomplish in this breed. With just two calves on the ground, out of 112Y, they both made featured heifer calves in this sale. We think the future is bright for this young cow. See her on sale day.

Elora 203N was one of the most recognized Red Angus females in Canada and producer of many successful cattle. We purchased Elora 45S from Six Mile. His semen generate $900 per unit recently in the A1 dispersal sale. - Lots 31 and 32 are two tremendous daughters of Indeed.
