Range

Establish a small independent clothing company that focuses on self made products and quality over quantity.

A type & image based investigation on print & branding. I am going to produce a range of clothing & printed matter under a clothing label that emphasises printed quality to be distributed through web & retail.

Hangers Labelling Look book

Clothing Each piece of clothing’s design has been screen printed with artwork as well as an inside tag except the jumpers which have been labelled due to the fabric on the inside. Each item also comes with a laser cut logo to add aesthetic.

Processes High quality cotton has been used for T-shirt stock and the colour variations are white, grey, dark grey.

All clothes and labels have been hand screened and stitched. Tags have been laser cut for precision.

Look book

Bind

The look book consists of 32 pages and has been broken up into two sections. The start is the Autumn/ Winter collection printed in colour to show the clothes with models wearing it.

A simple stitch bind has been used to allow the book to fold flat allowing maximum visibility of the images.

Look book The second section of the look book is broken up into the “Self Made� section were it emphasises the processes we go through to produce our clothes. This section has been made in black and white to break up the flow of the publication.

Promotion

Big Cartel

Facebook

Web promotion through facebook and big cartel is used to raise awareness of the brand and to give an online platform for sales.

Big Cartel allows us to sell clothing online free of charge for up to 5 items. This is a ideal platform for a small business that doesn’t have a website.

Facebook allows the brand to spread awareness through social media and attract new customers from similar audiences.
