This event was really fun! I forgot my sweater, so freezing for the first two hours wasn’t really that great. I forgot about it soon after seeing my group and their enthusiasm towards the motorcyclists. It warmed my heart to see everyone, even at such an early time, be ready to help out the community with our voices. It was a great bonding experience within our own club and the motorcyclists, and I think that the kids loved to see a community come together to support their own needs. — Melanie Garcia I enjoyed helping to set up for the Ride for Kids event. It was also cool looking at all the different styles of motorcycles passing by. I’m glad the motorcyclists rode for a good cause. It was super cold outside, but I still enjoyed cheering on the people. – Jennifer Ly
It was fun, but really cold in the morning. I couldn’t function properly until maybe halfway through the event since I ran to stand in the sun. It was really cool seeing the amount of motorcycles and slingshots attending, passing by. revving their engines and honking horns ! Not to mention, I got to bond with a couple other people in the club :)! – Ciara Ramos

This is my second year attending rtc, and it was a blast. I met new faces who I follow on social media. Experiencing the adrenaline rush the cheering battles was really fun and I’m grateful I was given the chance to attend. Not to mention be spirit head as well, and losing my voice again hehe. — Ciara Ramos RTC was definitely one of the highlights of my sophomore year so far. It was amazing to see everyone come together from all across the city for a common bond of service. The workshops went well

and it was mesmerizing to see everyone interacting with one another. None of us realized that in that moment by helping charities or learning about how Key Club worked, we were helping out our comment and leaving our own impact. It was amazing to see everyone take pride in their schools, but keep the competition to a friendly level, which is something that you won’t see in any other place. — Melanie Garcia
This was the second RTC I have attended. My experience was different as this year, I knew the basis of what is going to happen. It was a chilly morning but it was filled with high spirits. I knew my cheers so I was ready to cheer my heart out and lose my voice. I lost my voice during the general session which was great, but it’s okay, I still continued my day. The excitement didn’t happen until the second half of the day. I conducted a workshop which was nerve racking since I thought I was going to do it by myself but I ended with a lot of support from my friends that kept me from breaking down. I met so many new people I can’t wait to meet in the future [ fall rally ;) ] I ended the day tired and sweaty after singing and dancing in the mosh pit. I wish this experience didn’t come only once a year, so you shouldn’t miss this because it’s worth it! — Feliza Cunanan
RTC was an incredibly fun and fulfilling event to participate in. First and foremost, I spent the entire day with my friends and connected with people from other schools. I saw so many people and even some were students from my elementary school. We cheered together for our school and consolidated our school spirit. Another big component was the different workshops. They were entertaining as well as educational, and I learned a lot about key club, community service, and other tidbits in the mix. This RTC was one experience that I will not forget about, not only did I get to have fun with my friends, I also had a great experience working for certain charities, and cheering at the top of lungs for my school. I will definitely continue doing RTC for the years to come. – Kevin Sun

In Key Club, there are three major events- RTC, Fall Rally, and DCON. Of the three, RTC is the only one to occur so far. And it was amazing. I made so many new friends from schools all around Vegas, not to mention I got to learn about a lot of different charities and volunteer opportunities like Yuda Bands. The many, many freshman and I standing together and looking excited and unaware of everything that could happen. Then everyone started to file in and I realized just how big of a deal RTC is. After the general meeting (and a general hype session), my friends I set out to go to all the different workshops available. But what truly strikes me about this is in between every workshop and even in some of them, people were loud, excited, and hyping each other up so much! When some people saw us walking down the hall, they would start the CCCLA cheer. Some started their own cheers. And some of them just asked how do we feel? Everyone was so nice and showed amazing sportsmanship.

Although we didn’t win, the session was definitely my favorite part of the day (after the dance of course). Then came lunch. It was loud, people were cheering, and I was just hungry (although this was one of the few chances I got to see all my friends together). I also got to hang out with my old friend who goes to Vista, and we caught up and talked about the different schools and people there. Then came more workshops (I got to learn about Yuda Bands and support our very own Feliza!). And the today continues all the way to finding out about who won. It was cramped. It was crazy, and I went wild. But altogether the day was, although tiring, a night to remember. – Snow Ma
