I hope you have as much fun reading it as I did putting this newsletter together :) Make sure to follow @clarkeyclub for the newest updates, plans, and events for the month of december!

Stay safe everyone <3

ROCK PAINTING SOCIAL "I’m Eric Wang and I went to the food drive on October 23rd. This was actually my first volunteer event with Key Club. When I got to the Clark Hs parking lot, I saw 2 rows of food pallets in a line in front of the school. There were also I’d say about 60 cars lined up. I got there at I believe, 7:45 and we finished at around 10-11. Katherine and I were handing out bags of mozzarella. As each car came by we took turns packing cheese into their trunks as a part of the overall assembly line. My friend Jackson and I walked to the nearby 85 degrees store to get some food." Eric Wang

“The food drive was so much fun! It was great seeing members of ROTC and Key Club come together to help give back to the community. I got to the food drive pretty early, and on the way home I went to get boba at Shanghai Plaza! Overall, I had fun.” - Kelly Ru

"Light The Night was SO MUCH FUN!! The huge outcome of people who came to support and raise awareness and money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society was so heartwarming. I was glad to be able to see people “bring light to the darkness of cancer” together through Key Club just to support or even for their own personal reasons in coming out. It was so fun to be with so many friends and walking with all of the beautiful lanterns representing a good cause. Watching the fireworks to end the night was something I would not want to have missed. " - Jasmine Reyes

"I attended Light the Night and I had a good time. I volunteered to help out with putting lanterns around the track. The lanterns were very pretty and I loved them. I loved watching fireworks with my friends because I haven’t seen fireworks in a long time. I also loved watching the performance by Xavier, his speech was very motivating and inspiring. Overall, I had a great time and I hope we are able to do this again!" Princess Yambao

"I had a lot of fun at Light the Night! Even though it didn’t really pick up for an hour or so, hearing the stories of the survivors, especially the little boy singing, was really inspiring. Once the walk started, it was really pretty since everyone’s lanterns were lit and I had a good time walking it. 10/10 would attend again! 🏮" -
