08 February – 24 March 32 Paintings - 32 Paintings’ is a celebration of the painting medium, presenting a diverse mix of individual artists with a plurality of themes and approaches – Phoenix Gallery 14-16, 21-23, 28 February & 01-02 March David Blandy Artist-in-residence and Open Studio - Lighthouse’s Artist-inResidence for Brighton Science Festival, David Blandy, will be working on two major projects: 'Helix', and 'Anjin 1600: Edo Wonderpark', which turns a 17th century seafaring voyage into a space odyssey adventure. Theatres and Shows 29 January – 02 February The Lieutenant of Inishmore – Set in 1993 on the island of Inishmore, County Galway, Ireland, when the Northern Ireland peace process is taking its faltering first steps. INLA man and notoriously unstable one-man terrorist group Mad Padraic hears the news that his beloved cat, Wee Thomas, is poorly and heads straight back to the island he calls home. But when he arrives at the family home things are about to get very complicated indeed for the self-styled Lieutenant of Inishmore.
