LIFEGROUPS – NEW GROUPS BEGIN THIS MONTH

welcome to

We’re gearing up for a great Fall of connecting people with each other and learning about God together. We are asking for people to volunteer to: 1. HOST A GROUP and/or 2. LEAD A GROUP. If you have an interest in either, please contact Pastor, Michael Cranford. Please email him at: cranford5@yahoo.com or call him at: 817-944-5883.

We are so glad you are here today! We invite you to sit back, relax and enjoy the service. We want to make your visit to LIFEPOINTE Church very special – and here’s how: You can trust your children (from birth – grade 6) to our AngelPointe and KidzPointe teams. AngelPointe provides quality, loving care for your little ones from nursery to preschool. An atmosphere of fun and belonging has been created in our KidzPointe classes to make your child feel welcome. Any of our greeters can direct you to the children’s area. If you decide to keep your infant or young child with you during the service, please note that the restrooms are outside the back door of the auditorium on the left. Please use the WELCOME card to request any further information about our church or to communicate with us. You can drop it in the offering basket at the end of the service. Please have confidence that no one will drop by your home or call you without being asked. Take advantage of the message notes on the back page of this program. You can use these outline notes to follow along with today’s message.

ANGELPOINTE – FOR AGES BIRTH - K

SCHOOL OF HARD KNOCKS WE HAVE A MESSY VIEW OF MONEY WHEN . . . vWe

believe that money will bring us ________________________________________

Teach those who are rich in this world not to be proud and not to trust in their money, which is so unreliable. Their trust should be in God, who richly gives us all we need for our enjoyment. (1 Timothy 6:17 – NLT)

THE SYMPTOM: We __________________________ it! Don't hoard treasure down here where it gets eaten by moths and corroded by rust or—worse!—stolen by burglars. Stockpile treasure in heaven, where it's safe from moth and rust and burglars. It's obvious, isn't it? The place where your treasure is, is the place you will most want to be, and end up being. (Matthew 6:19-21 – Msg)

THE BOTTOM LINE: We need to learn to ________________________ God vWhen

Your little ones will love AngelPointe – a ministry designed just for kids from birth–kindergarten. Our beautiful nursery is staffed with loving, caring and experienced people who will provide the very best care for your babies. Our preschool is an exciting, fun-filled weekly adventure that will help your little ones learn about God’s love in an environment filled with color and creativity: they will experience Bible stories that come to life, and fun, hands-on craft projects and much more.

FOR ALL KIDS GRADES 1 - 6 The best hour of your kid’s week! That’s how we describe the Kidzpointe experience. Each week Kidzpointe – our ministry for children in grades 1-6, offers Bible-based lessons that are interactive, exciting and downright fun! The truths of the Bible are taught in a way that kids will remember and apply to their lives throughout the week. Lessons are reinforced creatively through awesome music and worship, drama, video and dynamic teaching. KidzPointe makes Scripture come to life in a fun and high energy event.

believe that money will bring us _____________________________________

Men who want lots of money are tempted. They are trapped into doing all kinds of foolish things and things which hurt them. These things drag them into sin and will destroy them. The love of money is the beginning of all kinds of sin. Some people have turned from the faith because of their love for money. They have made much pain for themselves because of this. (1 Timothy 6:9-11 – NLV)

THE SYMPTOM: We __________________________ it! You want something, but you can’t get it. You . . . want what others have. But you can’t have what you want . . . You don’t have what you want, because you don’t ask God. When you do ask . . . you don’t receive it. Why? Because you ask for the wrong reason. You only want to spend your money on your sinful pleasures. (James 4:2-3 – NIVrv)

THE BOTTOM LINE: We need to learn to what really ________________ in life vWe believe that money will bring us _______________________________________ So I grew richer than anyone in Jerusalem before me . . . If something appealed to me, I did it. I allowed myself to have any pleasure I wanted . . . This was my reward for all my hard work. But when I turned to look at all that I had accomplished and all the hard work I had put into it, I saw that it was all pointless. It was like trying to catch the wind. I gained nothing from any of my accomplishments under the sun. (Ecclesiastes 2:9-11 – GWT)

120 S. Crowley Road, Crowley, TX 76036

THE SYMPTOM: We __________________________ it!

Voice: 817-886-8486 - Fax: 817-350-4344

I have learned to be satisfied with the things I have and with everything that happens. I know how to live when I am poor, and I know how to live when I have plenty. I have learned the secret of being happy at any time in everything that happens, when I have enough to eat and when I go hungry, when I have more than I need and when I do not have enough . . . Serving God does make us very rich, if we are satisfied with what we have. We brought nothing into the world, so we can take nothing out. But, if we have food and clothes, we will be satisfied with that. (Philippians 4:11-12, 1 Timothy 6:6-8 – NCV)

THE BOTTOM LINE: We need to learn to be _______________ with what we have

MONEY WILL BE A BLESSING WHEN . . . “Don’t store up treasures here on earth, where moths eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal. Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal. Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be . . . No one
