SUMMER JUNIOR PROGRAM ELC offers a residential Summer Junior Program for students between the ages of 11-13 and 14-17. The Summer Junior Program gives students the opportunity to study and live on a famous American university or college campus. ELC offers the Summer Junior Program at three unique and prestigious campuses located in the heart of each city - UCLA (Los Angeles), Wheelock College (Boston) and UCSB (Santa Barbara).

14-17 years old Semi-Intensive English Course (20 lessons, 50 minutes per lesson) - Monday-Friday from 9am-12:40pm

HOMESTAY

Homestay accommodation – double room, half-board (14 meals per week)

ACTIVITIES

Afternoon activities Monday-Friday, full-day excursion each Sunday Included in the transportation fee, valid for Saturday arrivals and departures between 9am-9pm

AIRPORT TRANSFER

Students receive a public transportation pass

TRANSPORTATION

EXPLANATION OF COURSES Number of levels: up to 12 English level evaluation with multi-level placement: Our method of placement testing allows students to be placed into the appropriate level for each skill area, rather than a single level placement for all skill areas.

Grammar Structure and Usage  Teaches students the rules of grammar usage through

communicative teaching methods

 Gives students the opportunity to practice using grammar in

both speaking and writing

Communication Skills  Gives students practice speaking in English and listening to and

understanding English spoken by native speakers

 Provides students with feedback and special exercises to help

improve pronunciation
