EXCELLENT ACADEMIC QUALITY

“Where we learn to work and play together”

Why Oscars International summer camps? English is firmly established as a ‘lingua franca’; the world’s language. It is a core component of school curricula the world over. However, in many countries English forms just one part of the overall syllabus, meaning students are unable to fully immerse themsleves in the language. Oscars International junior camps offer young adults and teenagers the opportunity to activate and develop their English language abilities by following a course in a country where English is spoken. Participants will study alongside students who have a different native language and so English will be the only language of communication. The ability to use English will be stimulated by numerous themes, projects and outdoor activities where students will naturally engage and communicate with fellow learners. There simply is no better way to develop English language skills than in an environment that requires them to think, speak and eventually, dream English.

Safety Matters For parents, nothing is as important as knowing their child is safe and secure at camp. For this reason we choose our Oscars International locations and facilities with your child’s safety and security in mind, using our our child-protection policy as the main criteria. All activities and excursions for students are carefully designed, individually risk assessed and health & safety checks are carried out regularly and our caring staff are available 24-hours a day to help students and communicate with their parents. Our staff work hard to create a secure and structured environment that will allow students to instantly feel safe and cared for.

Personal Development At camp, students have a chance to take a break from their daily routine and have the space to be themselves and to develop independence and confidence. Our English programmes and social activities are designed to stimulate the students to think, imagine and unleash their creative powers. They are able to improve their skills as well as discover new talents and interests.

The Oscars International difference

Choice Every child and teenager is different. Oscars has prepared a choice of themed summer camp programmes to allow students to take part in the adventure they are really keen on. There are options for sports lovers, culture seekers and budding artists. Oscars’ options range from programmes for young adults preparing for university to young learners looking to explore and have fun with the language. Our campus locations allow students to experience prestigious boarding schools and universities, beautiful countryside, unique landmarks and modern cities.

Academic Quality Our Curriculum is developed by a highly-qualified Academic team and English language experts with years of experience. All of our teachers hold suitable qualifications to teach English as a foreign language across a spectrum of age-groups. Our staff undergo regular training and their performance is monitored regularly to ensure excellence of service.
