CONTENTS
Tiago Carvalho, 22 y.o., Architect Designer "Beyond technique”, it is the essence that infuses the word 'architecture'. This principle serves as the bridge connecting abstraction to the tangible world, enabling the transmission of sentiment and sensory experiences through spatiality, coupled with innovative design. I hold a profound belief in this profession, viewing it as the answer for unlocking the distinctive potential inherent in every challenge or client, guiding them towards their greatest potential, through thoughtful design."

anem ne TINY HOUSE - 2022 COMPETITION
DYNAMIC - ACCESSIBLE - COMPACT - FUNCTIONAL
Focusing on comfort, versatility and accessibility for both residents - Vincent, a marine biologist, and Caroline, a wheelchair plastic artist - the project Anemone represents the idea of dwelling not just a habitat, but a home, connecting the environment and the user. With a modulation of 1,5m and 26 m² of permanence areas, the proposal presents a program based on an ample space where the personalized furniture defines it, allowing fully accessibility to wheelchair users. The tiny house was developed in a modular steel structure and WOOD panels, conferring plasticity to the set. The dynamic of the panels guarantee variation for the openings, as they can be modified as the residents prefer. The fragility that coral reefs have faced in the past years, result of natural degradation and human damages towards the planet, has piqued the couple's interest in moving to Jarvis Bay, in the southeast of Australia, a country with high level of biodiversity. The area is situated less than 150 km from Sidney, allowing the residents access to big city infrastructure whenever necessary, at the same time it provides them with the opportunity to be close to the natural environment and coral reefs ecosystems.

titus MICROLIBRAY - 2021 COMPETITION
ENGAGEMENT - LEARNING - COMMUNITY - INTERACTION - SINERGY - CREATIVITY
The depiction “The School of Athens”, by Raphael, on the renassaince, sets a great example of expertise, were great names in philosofy, mathmatics and others are jointed, engaged and debating in the inquires that brought them to greatness. It means we not only see the scholars, but the activity of scholarship itself, regardless gender, age and position in society heritage. These values would only be preeminent in a society where people face each other as individuals which have the greatest potential together and cultivates the habit and comprehension of sharing and conquering ideas. In order to set this into reality, architecture has the fundamental role, while proposing spaces which embraces those around and make them participants in its program. Aiming to respond to the challengem, project Titus is a Micro Library composed of steel frame structure and polycarbonate facade, that set a free space on the ground, designed to suggest an area of dialogue and work. Its conception is separated in two segments: the ground floor, where human relations are intensified; and the roof, where the knowledge storage is kept.
The correlation between both happens due to a system of movable pulleys - which assists in reducing object's weight - with perforated metal sheets niches used as bookshelves and sitting volumes. The individual will be able to handle the interaction with each bookshelf, composed of different subjects, with an app which purpose is to descend the user's desired niche.

ipa SÃO LUIZ DO PARAITINGA`S PROFESSIONALIZING INSTITUTE OF ARTS FINAL DEGREE PROJECT - 2023
São Luiz do Paraitinga, situated in the core of the Paraíba Valley, SP, is the culmination of a harmonious blend between its picturesque landscape and a history fraught with challenges. The year 2010 etched a significant chapter in its narrative with the occurrence of the 'Great Flood,' leaving indelible visible and emotional scars within its community. The residual aftermath of this devastation serves to elevate the essence, culture, and hope intrinsic to the people of São Luiz. In the initial stages, a concerted effort was made to safeguard the widely recognized historical heritage of the center in the aftermath of the event. The subsequent phase, meticulously planned, seeks to rejuvenate areas adversely affected by the flood. This involves accentuating and preserving the cultural underpinnings embodied in the intangible heritage of the region. The architectural project unfolds at the epicenter of the iconic 'concrete scar,' progressing across the three tiers of the existing erosion containment wall. Each tier incorporates detention basins designed to mitigate the impact of floods, creating reflective water surfaces in communal spaces. Despite these measures, the preservation of the historical heritage remains paramount. Here, the project adopts a tactful visual approach through an encompassing facade and reforestation, the efficacy of which extends to erosion prevention. The project metamorphoses into a beacon of opportunities, serving as a conduit for education, the revival of traditions and artistic expressions, and a catalyst for the creative economy that will resonate through future generations. São Luiz do Paraitinga, in this manner, undergoes a renewal, emerging as a symbol of resilience and hope for the future."

athos BLOCK CORE DEGREE PROJECT - 2022
The project is situated in downtown of Campinas, SP, encompassing the city blocks bordered by General Osório, José Paulino, Benjamin Constant, and Regente Feijó streets. It capitalizes on the central portions of the lots, where its potential is realized through the connectivity and permeability among existing structures. Initially, the urban pedestrian infrastructure within an area occasionally deemed desolate undergoes rejuvenation by means of novel insertion openings. The conversion of Bernardino de Campos street into an exclusive pedestrian thoroughfare, coupled with the implementation of the two blocks, serves to underscore the objective of fostering dynamism within the city, optimizing interrelations, and leveraging communal spaces. The block facing the Palace of Justice and Guilherme de Almeida Square comprises an underground parking facility and a subterranean cinema complex. Commercial galleries are accommodated on the ground, first, and second floors, with a third-floor allocation for a coworking space and the remaining sections of the building designated for a film school. Consequently, the urban reintegration of an underutilized city sector and the revitalization of cinematic culture in downtown Campinas assume paramount significance within the project's scope.
