McConnell’s based in Ballybofey is a generations old butchers, renowned for it’s quality with a loyal clientele but like all local butchers under pressure from supermarkets and other factors. With the day to day running being passed down Shane, we were hired to transform the business identity and to develop a new business model and revenue streams.

Working with Shane we created a new modern fresh identity and applied it to every aspect of the business from shop interior, packaging, displays, posters and booklets. This had a revitalising effect on perceptions and along with their commitment to providing locally sourced quality meat transformed the business. Alongside this we developed moo.ie an innovative website, aimed at targeting a nationwide market, that allows consumers from all over the country to choose specially selected boxes, from the fit conscious to providing for special occasions, delivered fresh direct to their door.

In November 2018 McConnell’s took two big titles at the prestigious Butchery Excellence International Awards. Butcher Shop of the Year and also the Best Online Butchery Business of the Year, beating off stiff competition to win both awards.

A wide ranging project, we were hired to completely overhaul the entire branding, packaging and e-commerce for the company and transform it into a modern premium brand.

One of our favourite projects, we proposed re-naming the company and began by creating a new logo and colour scheme.

We then moved on to creating and designing every single label, tag and package. This ensured a visual consistency and transformed the image of the company, highlighting the hand-made and attention to detail of their premium product.

This was also translated to their web presence and online shop.

FINN HARPS As an official design partner of Finn Harps, we are responsible for the design and production of a wide range of output from the Club.

This ranges from conceiving and creating the marketing theme for the entire season consisting of Posters, Videos productions, social media graphics typography etc This ensures there is a consistent visual message throughout the promotional output and helps present a professional image for the club.

In 2017 we were Short-listed for Best Digital Initiative in the annual FAI Communications Awards for our work. We also produce the sponsorship proposals for sponsors and any strategic documents required.

EARAGAIL ARTS FESTIVAL The contract with the Earagail Arts Festival consisted of creating the 24 Page booklet, for the entire festival programme. We were also tasked with creating the visual theme based on their guidelines and had full control over design, layout and typography.

Being an internationally renowned festival the contract carried some prestige for our studio and included extremely tight deadlines along with unlimited revisions.

It had a print run of tens of thousands and was received very positively.

McGrory’s Hotel and Restaurant is an innovative Venue based in Culdaff, Co. Donegal. The hotel is renowned for it’s live music and over the last few years the quality of food and location. DIAGA is their main design partner and we take care of all promotional material from, posters, booklets, signage, menus and photography. We are also tasked to develop their brand identity and ensure the consistency of output in all their visual output. We have also produced a short film highlighting the location, close to the Star Wars movie shoot and continue to work closely to meet their needs. In 2018 we will be totally redesigning all print design including menus, signage and other various graphics.
