The Executive Secretariat Informs CIAT presents new Web site at Technical Conference The Inter-American Center of Tax Administrations launched the new CIAT Web site, within the framework of the Technical Conference being held in Paris, France, on October 18-21, 2010. The evolution of our site in Internet becomes thus a fundamental milestone, with a total new trend in CIAT communications with the international tax community. Digital resources and interactive elements such as images, animation and sound have been incorporated to facilitate the handling of the information. The contents of the information has also been expanded and a new space for discussing tax administration and policy issues has been incorporated.
CIAT is a public international organization which groups the tax administrations of 38 countries, (29 Amarican countries, 6 European countries, 2 African countries and one Asian country), for the purpose of providing an integral service for the modernization of those administrations, by promoting their evolution, social acceptance and consolidation through the exchange of knowledge, experiences and the rendering of specialized technical assistance.
