The year 2023 arrives and it fills us of satisfaction, GADEXP SRL, celebrates more than 10 years of operation in the logistics world, managing to maintain as the center of our business culture a great “passion for the service”, so we started our conversation with Geovanny López, founder and CEO of this logistics company, established in the Santiago city, from where they provide their excellent services globally.

GADEXP SRL was born in 2008 and it is two years later when it starts the operations as Customs agents, with the focus of achieving a structure that projects confidence and security in the logistics market and thereby develop collaboration ties with customers. Already for 2015 they take their first steps in the cargo consolidation market, this as an important complement to the service that they have been offering since their beginning, printing on this the passion that characterize them and that is part of their business DNA.

SRL has achieved the proposed goals and they are preparing with a strategic vision to achieve the objectives that remain to be achieved.

According to Mrs. López, “We are creating the conditions that guarantee our customers the greatest control and security of their loads through the links that make up the logistics chain”.

With a clear objective and without losing their focus, the company becomes a member of the main institutions that regulate international trade in our country, such as: American Chamber of

Commerce -AMCHAMDR-, The Traders and Industrialists Association -ACIS- and the Chamber of Commerce of Santiago. In order to continue providing to our customers the security and confidence, the need arises to certify as an AEO Authorized Economic Operator, becoming pioneers as a customs agency that achieve this certification that allows them to scale the security of their operations to international levels.

Mrs. López tells us, “this certification facilitates and guarantees us to continue offering a service at the height of the highest security standards, opening border to transcend and have total control of the logistical movements of cargo between the United States and the Dominican Republic. As a result of this facility, we need to have a presence in the United States. This is how Caribexp Logistics LLC was born. A sister company that offers maritime transport, land, documentation or broker and international cargo insurance. This company have licenses granted by the FMC (FEDERAL MARITIME COMMISSION) such as NVOCC, OTI and Broker in the USA, this will consolidate and support the existing structure in GADEXP, this action being a transcendental movement to project our growth.

GADEXP is preparing to undertake new challenges with a broader vision that allows them to continue improving the service and to add value offer, with complementary services that can contribute to improving the expectations and satisfaction of their customers.
