Concentration in regulatory analysis and compliance focuses on the regulations and laws that impact many corporations. As you prepare to become a certified corporate compliance and ethics professional®, you will learn to develop a compliance program tailored to corporate compliance, privacy compliance, information management, and corporate fraud and abuse. Concentration in corporate global compliance and ethics provides a foundation or enhances your current compliance knowledge with an understanding of international requirements. While preparing to become a certified corporate compliance and ethics professional-international®, you will further your knowledge of international compliance, international regulatory affairs, international ethics, global compliance training, and global fraud and abuse.

Master of Jurisprudence (MJ) in Health Law This online master’s degree is designed for healthcare and other professionals who are seeking graduate-level training in current legal and regulatory healthcare issues. You will receive intensive preparation to work in regulatory compliance analysis, risk management, healthcare fraud, compliance program development and training, and investigations to meet the requirements of compliance programs for healthcare organizations. You will gain specialized knowledge from one of three concentrations: Concentration in regulatory analysis and compliance focuses on laws and regulations that impact the delivery of healthcare. You will become more competitive in the areas of hospital compliance, privacy compliance, medical regulatory affairs, pharmaceutical regulatory affairs, information management, records management, healthcare quality and liability, and healthcare fraud and abuse. Upon successful completion of the program, you will be eligible to take the CCB exam to become certified in healthcare compliance.

If you are a nurse with a current BSN, the concentration in legal nurse consulting and compliance will give you practical skills and knowledge to transition or advance in medical-legal settings, including medical organizations, pharmaceutical companies, law offices, and governmental agencies. You will gain expertise as a nurse consultant and broaden your understanding of the legal and regulatory healthcare environment. Concentration in healthcare global compliance and ethics will give you the knowledge necessary to transition or advance in areas requiring global compliance, including international compliance, international regulatory affairs, international ethics, global compliance training, and global healthcare fraud and abuse. It will also assist you as you prepare to become a certified corporate compliance and ethics professional-international®.

Online Graduate-Level Certificates Our online certificate programs will equip you to be competitive for leadership positions in numerous fields. They are designed for professionals who currently possess a basic understanding of the law and regulatory environment but who wish to expand their knowledge and skills in developing and maintaining a compliance program. Corporate law certificate in regulatory analysis and compliance enables compliance professionals to advance in the fields of corporate compliance, regulatory affairs, executive training, policy development, and auditing/ monitoring. Health law certificate in regulatory analysis and compliance helps nurses, healthcare professionals, and other allied professionals with information on hospital compliance, privacy compliance, medical regulatory affairs, pharmaceutical regulations, healthcare information management, and issues of fraud, waste, and abuse.

Certificate in global compliance and ethics provides attorneys and other working compliance professionals with practical skills to transition into or advance in healthcare or corporate international compliance-related fields of management, executive training, international compliance, regulatory affairs, and ethics. Courses for Non-Matriculating Students Graduate-level online courses can help you polish professional compliance skills and prepare for the Compliance Certification Board (CCB) exam. We offer more than 25 compliance courses to choose from, such as healthcare regulatory compliance, corporate deviance, principles and practices of legal nurse consulting, contract drafting, legal writing, and more. You may take up to three online enrichment courses without applying for a degree program—or you may enroll in a master’s degree program and apply credits earned.
Dual Degree Delaware Law collaborates with Widener University’s School of Business to offer an online master of jurisprudence in corporate law and master of business administration (MJ/MBA), a dual degree that focuses on both compliance and business. (If you prefer, you may take MBA classes on campus at Widener University.) The MJ/MBA may be completed in as little as two and a half years. Eligibility A bachelor’s degree is required for all graduate study. While not mandatory, it is preferable for an applicant to have current or recent professional experience in a closely related field. Scheduling All courses are online and do not require an on-campus component. You may begin your degree in the fall (August) or spring (January) semesters or the summer (May) semester. Courses are accessible 24/7 and students can reach faculty both online and through virtual web sessions.
Credit Requirements Each master’s program requires 29 credit hours of coursework and can be completed in two academic years. If law and business programs are accelerated, the dual degree MJ/MBA requires 48 credit hours over two and a half years. Graduate-level certificates require 15 credit hours and can be completed in one academic year. CCB Exam Delaware Law’s CCB accreditation provides successful graduates with the eligibility to sit for a CCB exam. Successful students will substitute their compliance degree for the 1,500 hours of field experience otherwise required for eligibility.
