On Friday, December 11, we decked the halls of our office with boughs of holly for our annual Silent Night holiday celebration. This year, with the help and funding from Advent Health, we transformed our Winter Park office into a winter wonderland complete with snowflakes, ornaments, Christmas trees, and twinkling lights. Dozens of children and their families enjoyed holiday crafts (provided by Altrusa), wrote letters to Santa, met the big man in red himself (safely, of course), and received Christmas gifts that were kindly donated by the Mayflower Retirement Community of Winter Park. Mr. Claus was fluent in American Sign Language and had some great conversations with children, and even their parents and family members!
