GENERAL INFORMATION Certificate
A Certificate of Completion is awarded if 75% attendance is attained and course requirements are met for short-term classes. EKG, Phlebotomy, Health Unit Coordinator, Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, Patient Access & Registration Specialist, Pharmacy Technician, and other career certification programs have 90% attendance requirements (details on the first day of class). Fire, EMT, STNA, and CPR courses require 100% attendance.

Senior Citizens
Individuals 60 or older may be
eligible to receive a discount for certain classes costing $100 or more in tuition, applied after the book and/or material costs are subtracted from the course fee. You must register in person with photo ID the first time.
Refund Policy for ShortTerm and Other Classes Short-Term Classes: Refunds, less a $15 processing fee, will be made if the student withdraws before the second class. If the class is cancelled due to low enrollment, no processing fee will be charged. Motorcycle Classes: There are no refunds of the $50 registration fee. Students may re-schedule a class by calling (513) 612-5847 to request a change to a later class.
Computer 1 & 2 Day Seminar Classes: A $50 cancellation fee will be charged unless a cancellation is received no later than 48 hours before the start of class. IT Certification Programs: A $150 cancellation fee will be charged unless a cancellation is received no later than 48 hours before the start of class. WorkKeys: There are no refunds available for WorkKeys registration. If you need to change your test date and you contact us at (513) 771-8881 at least 24 hours before your scheduled testing, we are able to offer a one-time transfer to a future test date. If we don’t hear from you at least 24 hours before your scheduled test date, we are unable to offer a transfer.

The course will also cover some of the legal and practical concerns for keeping these records in 2020. For example, if your initial incident report and your full investigative report are within the same computer program, does that mean you’ve got to give a newspaper a copy of everything if they ask for it?
