GROWTH IN THE REGION
LOVELAND Residential Development
The Chimney Ridge subdivision, on Butterworth Road in the Warren County portion of the city, will begin construction during spring 2021. The development will include 30 new single-family homes, and will host the 2022 Homerama.
A 25-unit Zicka Homes condominium development along State Route 48 will include sidewalks for pedestrian accessibility into the downtown business district.
Commercial
In early 2021, the city will complete its comprehensive plan and focuses on the redevelopment of the Loveland-Madeira Road business corridor. The city’s Commerce Park continues to thrive with only two vacant sites. In 2021, McCluskey Chevrolet will expand its headquarters there.
To continue the growth of the downtown business district, the city will construct a 280-space parking facility that will include access onto State Route 48, off ering a new access point into the downtown business district.
Infrastructure
In 2021 the city will commence the repair of a longstanding hillside slippage problem with the Broadway Stabilization project, which includes construction of a drilled soldier pile retaining wall, with plugs to repair the roadway slide. The project is funded through a 50/50 grant and loan from the Ohio Public Works Commission (OPWC).
The city also received a 50/50 grant and loan from OPWC for repairs to a collapsed storm drainpipe on Miamiview Drive.

SYMMES TOWNSHIP Residential Development
Symmes off ers an excellent school system and zero earnings tax to residents. Four new subdivisions off er amazing housing options. Residents enjoy community events throughout the year in more than 197 acres of sprawling park space.
Infrastructure
Paving programs are ongoing, with a focus on curb and sidewalk replacement and additions. Bridge replacement, water line, and storm water lines are planned improvements over the next year. Park improvements will off er updated rental locations as well as playground and trail updates. Touchless park restroom facilities were recently added to keep everyone as safe as possible.
Business
The past years have seen over a dozen new businesses come into the Township. Medical offi ces, home mortgage businesses, and exciting new restaurants continue to choose Symmes as their home.
MIAMI TOWNSHIP Residential Development
Miami Township boasts the 13th most populated township in Ohio and is home to 30,000 jobs. New homes in the $350,000–$800,000 range are currently under construction in six subdivisions. New patio home and apartment developments are now open, and a condominium development will break ground in 2021.
Infrastructure
Several park, street, and sidewalk improvement projects and additions are planned for 2021.
Business
Six of the largest privately-owned businesses in the region are in Miami Township. New restaurants recently or soon to be opened include Wings & Rings, the Miamiville Trailyard, and locally-owned All Hail the Biscuit. Additional medical and retail development is in the pipeline for construction this year.
