MADDIE BURGOON JONES Assistant Director/Choreographer
Maddie is a graduate of Northern Kentucky University with a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre. She also has her Masters in Arts Administration from the University of Kentucky. She has been performing with TCT for 14 years, where she has appeared in shows such as Disney’s Peter Pan (Tigerlily), Santa Claus: The Musical (Punchy), Madagascar (Rico the Penguin), and Seussical JR. (Bird Girl). She choreographs national award-winning tap, musical theatre, hiphop, and contemporary, and has also won numerous National Championships in Tap and Musical Theatre. She was a member of the award-winning, all-female acapella group, the Baby Grands with SCPA, performing for audiences around the US and China.
JACOB PRIDDY Music Director
Jacob, a native of Louisville, KY, has spent the last four years as a NYC-based music director/ pianist. A graduate of Northern Kentucky University, Jacob is thrilled to be back in Cincinnati working for The Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati. Favorite credits include: A Christmas Story (National Tour), / i "vw Vit Ƃ ÕÃ V> *>À `Þ (NYC, Off-Broadway), Newsies (Theatre By The Sea), Jersey Boys (Ogunquit Playhouse), Elegies: A Song Cycle (NKU), Hairspray (The Argyle Theatre), The Secret Garden (Cincinnati’s Playhouse in the Park), and Title of Show (MD/Larry).

MATILDA JR . PRODUCTION TEAM He has served on musical theatre faculty for Kentucky’s Governor School for the Arts and composed music for The Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati’s TCT On Tour program reaching dozens of schools in the Ohio/Kentucky area. Jacob is also a Vocal Director for Celebrity Cruises Entertainment and has played for and arranged several cabarets in the NYC area.
JEFF SHEARER Costume Design
This is Jeff’s sixth season as Resident Costume Designer for TCT. He has also designed costumes for Northern Kentucky University, Theatre By The Sea in Rhode Island, Shawnee Playhouse in the Poconos, and served as Assistant Costume Designer for San Diego Repertory Theatre. Favorite projects include Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Mame, Gypsy, and Little Shop of Horrors. In addition, Jeff has designed for theme parks including Kings Island, Dorney Park, and Cedar Point.
BENJAMIN GANTOSE Lighting Design
Benjamin is an Ohio native. He grew up in Berea, Ohio, and attended the CollegeConservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati, where he studied theatrical design and production with an emphasis on lighting design. Benjamin has been involved in both scenic and lighting design for works spanning ballet and modern dance, scripted and devised theatre, musical theatre, opera, and theme parks. He is Resident Lighting Designer at Cleveland Public Theatre and an Associate Designer at the Cincinnati Ballet and Kansas City Ballet. Benjamin’s work has been seen recently at Cleveland Playhouse, Ballet Hawaii, Beck Center For The Arts, Cleveland Musical Theater, Verb Ballets, and Inlet Dance Theatre. As an Associate Designer, Benjamin’s work includes lighting and scenic designs at Louisville

SPENCER C. BURKE Technical Director
Spencer is pleased to continue his role with The Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati for a fourth season. He originally hails from Akron, Ohio, but has called several states home while pursuing his career in technical directing. He received his B.F.A. in theatre design from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. He has had the privilege of working with incredible designers and technicians at notable theaters including Shakespeare Theatre D.C. and Orlando Shakespeare. After teaching at Wofford College and Western Carolina University, he is excited to be working with the talented professionals here in Cincinnati!
ELLIE FANGMAN Properties Master
Ellie is excited to be joining the creative team at The Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati. As a native of Cincinnati, she grew up attending the productions at the Taft Theatre, which is where her love of theatre began to grow. She received her B.F.A. in Scenic Design, Scenic Artistry, and Properties from The University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music. She has had the privilege to work with incredible designers and technicians around the country, including at the Illinois Shakespeare Festival, Opera Saratoga, The Cincinnati Artist Theatre, and more. She is delighted to be working with all the talented professionals here in Cincinnati and hopes you enjoy the show!
CANDANCE LEYLAND Wig Master
Candace is a graduate of Northern Kentucky University. She has been the Wig Master at The Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati for four seasons, working on Annie JR., A Charlie Brown Christmas, Casper The Friendly Musical, Santa Claus: The Musical, Polkadots: The Cool Kids Musical, Alice in Wonderland, Tarzan The Stage Musical Based on the Disney Film, Peter Pan, Cinderella, Madagascar – A Musical Adventure, and Disney and Cameron Mackintosh’s Mary Poppins JR.

Jadi has previous Stage Management experience for the Henry Mancini Academy, the Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center, Busch Gardens Entertainment, Kings Island Entertainment, and the Hamilton City School District. He was also a Theatrical Project Manager for Vincent Lighting Systems, and a Lighting Director for Riverfront Live, the Madison Theater, the Fitton Center for the Creative Arts, and the Greater Hamilton Civic Theatre. TCT’s renowned STAR Programs have trained students ages 9–18 to become well-rounded performers in all areas of musical theatre through an immersive multi-week intensive. These competitive programs are audition-based, and students accepted spend the summer working with leading professionals in the theatre business, helping them improve in all areas. Their work culminates in a final showcase and one-act festival.
