On Oct. 21, Cincinnati Museum Center guests were among the first to see the new special exhibit, “The Art of the Brick,” which opened to the public on Oct. 23. The Block Party opened the door to the world’s largest display of LEGO art by contemporary artist Nathan Sawaya. With more than 100 works created entirely from LEGO bricks, the exhibit has been named a CNN Top 10 “Global Must See Exhibition.” Guests also tried their hand at a speed build or buildin-a-bag against friends, struck a pose with Framester in their photobooth and grooved with Jon Jon from Q102 all night. MVCCA The Lettermen Concert
Miami Valley Community Concert Association presented The Lettermen concert Sept. 21 to start its 25th anniversary season. The Lettermen have been entertaining audiences since the 1950s with a combination of rhythm and blues, rock ‘n’ roll, ballads, Broadway tunes and other types of music that span generations. The event was held in the Centerville Schools Performing Arts Center’s 1,200-seat theater, one of the largest venues in the Dayton area. The Lettermen have been entertaining audiences since the 1950s.

Warren County Career Center relies on support from many business partners to keep up with standards in the industry and provide opportunities for adult and high school students. The annual Business Advisory Kickoff was held Oct. 15, in which hundreds of business advisors met with instructors and coordinators and also attended a dinner and special ceremony inducting members into the WCCC Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame and recognizing Ohio School Boards Association Business Honor Roll recipients.

Aileron recently hosted The W. Edward Deming Institute and two Deming experts, Kelly Allan and Lynda Finn, as they facilitated a two-and-a-half-day workshop. The aim of the workshop was to explore Deming core concepts to help attendees install professional management into their organization—and run their business more smoothly. Special guests at the workshop included Kevin Cahill, executive director of the W. Edwards Deming Institute, and Ed Baker, whom Dr. Deming referred to as “one of his most valued associates,” and the author of W. Edwards Deming’s Symphony of Profound Knowledge.
