Project Statement:

Design a space for the balancing device where someone can marvel at the phenomena of gravity and observe how even the gentlest breath of wind, the force of gravity, and the changing position of the sun throughout the day interact with the balance.
Concept Statement:
The concept for this project developed through a series of sketches inspired by a tomato pin cushion used for sewing. The form, color, and functionality of the pin cushion served as inspiration for the design of the balancing device.
The balancing device is to the space like an octopus is to camouflaging in the space.
