CineEurope: recovery is closer

The Barcelona International Convention Centre (CCIB) once again brings together the industry at CineEurope, the main cinema convention in Europe. From June 19 to 22, and with cinemas getting the audiences back to the theatres little by little, the 32nd edition of this essential event offers conferences, studio presentations, screenings, booths and a complete schedule.

Organized by The Film Expo Group , CineEurope is the official convention of the International Union of Cinemas (UNIC) , an entity that represents exhibitor associations in 38 European territories.

Cinionic is the Official Projection Provider and the Spanish company Kelonik takes care that all the studio presentations and screenings are technologically flawless. Exhibition professionals will once again witness the films that are yet to come, the emerging trends in the sector and the latest technologies and services to make cinemas even more attractive to the audience.

This new edition comes just after a few very promising weeks in terms of the box office.

The recovery of the pre-pandemic figures was being slow, but the outcome of the latest blockbusters releases suggest a bright future in which cinemas will once again become the great social meeting point that they always were.
