efikre is a 2016 upcoming Indian Hindi romantic drama film written, directed, and produced by Aditya Chopra under his Yash Raj Films banner. It features Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor in the lead roles. The film was shot over a period of 50 days in Paris and Mumbai. It is scheduled to release worldwide on 9 December 2016. The film was announced by Yash Raj Films in September 2015 as Chopra's directorial comeback, scheduled for a December 2016 release.

Dangal

angal is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language biographical sports drama film directed by Nitesh Tiwari. It stars Aamir Khan as Mahavir Singh Phogat, who taught wrestling to his daughters Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumari.The former is India's first female wrestler to win at the 2010 Commonwealth Games, where she won the gold medal (55 kg) while her sister Babita Kumari won the silver (51 kg). "Dangal" is the Hindi term for "a wrestling competition". The music for Dangal is composed by Pritam, while lyrics are written by Amitabh Bhattacharya. Kripa Shankar Bishnoi, a coach with the Indian women's wrestling team, has trained Aamir Khan and the entire crew for the wrestling sequences. Dangal is scheduled for release on 23 December 2016.

Rock On 2 Rock On 2 is a film that can be completely ignored because of the poor narration. The movie fails to make any noise with the music. Give it a skip.

Story : Rock On 2 is all about Adi (Farhan Akhtar) who moves to Meghalaya and he starts working for the welfare of locals over there. Joe (Arjun Rampal) turns judge for a reality show and he owns a bar that plays live music. KD (Purab Kohli) prays for re-uniting the band and his hope raises after he listens to a recording by Jiah (Shraddha Kapoor) and Uday (Shashank Arora). The rest of the film is all about how the band re-united and what happens next. Watch Rock On 2 to know about the rest.

Analysis : The first half of the movie starts low in pace and the narration has been quite dull. Though some of the moments raise the race, the film dips down again. Couple of songs have been shot well and the performances by the lead actors make the audience energetic. The interval episodes make the audience engaging however the film has been quite slow in pace and it lacks entertainment. On the whole the first half of Rock On 2 tests your patience. The second half of Rock On 2 too carries the same mood and it dips down completely. The biggest disappointment is the songs as none of them have been melodious and interesting. The pre-climax episodes have been dragged too much that they test the patience of the audience. On the whole the second half of Rock On 2 is quite disappointing.

Force 2

Force 2 is a decent action entertainer with stupendous performances and superb action sequences. A decent one time watch if you keep your expectations low. John Abraham steals the show. Story : Force 2 is all about the acts of ACP Yashvardhan (John Abraham) who is a daredevil cop. This time hee has a bigger job to do and not restricted to Mumbai. After several RAW agents get nabbed in China, an investigation team will be assigned the duty to trap the real culprit. Yash gets a clue sent by his friend and it is during this time, Yash and KK (Sonakshi Sinha) will be sent to trap the traitor to complete the mission. Shiv Sharma (Tahir Raj Bhasin) is their final target and the rest of the film is how Yash succeeds on his missions. Watch Force 2 to know about the rest of the story. 22

Analysis : The first half of Force 2 promises some a decent commercial action drama as the film has been a right mix of all the ingredients. John Abraham opens with a bang and his introduction has been loud and stupendous. After a decent commercial drama, the film turns extremely interesting. Though it has small dips, the first half of Force 2 manages to stand strong all over. The songs have been shot well and the interval episodes make the film interesting. The second half of Force 2 has been quite emotional and it has been laced with action. The element of crime dominates the film completely and Force 2 is sure not a disappointment. The movie takes the right move all over and it makes a decent impact on the audience all over. The pre-climax episodes of Force 2 have been completely engaging however Sonakshi Sinha acts as the major disappointment in the film. The climax has been decent and on the whole, Force 2 is sure a decent and engaging action drama.

2/5 Dear Zindagi is a movie that falls short of the expectations. Alia Bhatt and Shah Rukh Khan tops the show however an unusual narration makes the film fall flat.

Story : Dear Zindagi is all about Kyra (Alia Bhatt) and her life style. She breaks up with Sid (Angad Bbedi) and then with Raghuvendra (Kunal Kapoor). Kyra dreams big and she thinks that they seem to be sinking because of her breakups and love life. That is when she happens to meet a renowned psychiartist Dr Jehangir Khan (Shah Rukh Khan). With Khan interacting with Kyra in various sessions, things start changing and the rest of Dear Zindagi is all about what happens next. Watch Dear Zindagi to know about the film.

Analysis : The first half of Dear Zindagi rarely has something to express and it looks completely clitched. The screenplay has been hammered enough that it makes no difference. The entire first half has been wasted without revealing anything to the audience. Some of the episodes impress the audience but they make no impact on the whole. The visuals have been fresh and the interval episodes looked simple. On the whole the first half of Dear Zindagi is a disappointment. The second half of Dear Zindagi has been decent however it tests the patience of the audience. Some of the episodes have been dragged without any need. Once again the songs looked decent and the cinematography is the major highlight of the film. With many unusual episodes, Dear Zindagi looks slammed on the whole and the second half has been better but it too falls short of the expectations.

Naruda Donoruda Naruda Donoruda is a film that can be given a huge skip as the film ends out to be a boring feast because of the clumsy narration and outdated presentation. Story : Naruda Donoruda is all about the life of Vikram (Sumanth) who parties hard without many responsibilites. He will be nabbed by an infertility specialist (Thanikella Bharani) who forces him to turn sperm donor. Vikram gets habitual of the habit as he gets huge money. It is during this time, he falls in love with Aashima (Pallavi Subash) after which his life changes completely. They get married after which Aashima comes to know about the bitter truth that Vikram is a sperm donor. The rest of the film is all about how they patch up. Analysis : The first half of Naruda Donoruda has enough patches and it has been hammered enough. The love story has been fresh enough however the concept of sperm donation has been quite hard to digest. The songs have been shot well and placed well. With a simple interval block, the first half of Naruda Donoruda has nothing much enough to get excited. The second half of Naruda Donoruda falls flat completely as the film misses the needed emotional feel. Most of the episodes look boring and outdated. Some of the episodes look repeated and the pre-climax episodes look dragged completely. The climax has been decent however it doesnâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;t make much difference. On the whole the second half of Naruda Donoruda is a huge disappointment.

Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada 3/5 Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada is sure an impressive thriller and the performances along with the gripping narration makes the film a decent watch. Story : Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada is the story of Arjun (Nikhil) who moves to Kerala during a treatment for his friend and he happens to meet Amala (Hebah Patel). He falls in love with her and after coming back to Hyderabad, he realizes that she is a spirit. It is then Amalaâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s spirit enters Parvathi (Nandita Swetha) after which she tries getting close to Arjun. The rest of Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada is all about the relation between Arjun and Amala. Watch Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada to know about the rest.

The second half of Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada has many twirls throughout however it is the low pace which makes the audience sit low. The interesting story has been narrated and presented in the best way and the second half of Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada will sure make the film turn decent.

The audience have been eagerly waiting for her second outing and it happened as Dear Zindagi. King Khan Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt essayed the lead roles in this breezy drama. Dear Zindagi trailer has been a huge hit and it caught everyoneâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s attention. SRK and Alia have been presented in a completely new and different look in the 34

film. The songs ended up as chartbusters and increased the expectations on the film. Dear Zindagi released all over on November 25th all over and the film opened to packed houses across the globe. Dear Zindagi has been exceptionally accepted by the multiplex audience all over. Dear Zindagi released in over 1200 screens across the country and in overseas the film occupied 600 screens. Neha Sharma who impressed the audience with her performance and glamorous touch failed to make much impact on Indian screen. She pinned huge hopes on her upcoming movie Tum Bin 2 that released during this November. The movie too ended up as a disappointment at the box-office. Here are the excerpts of her candid chitchat about her latest outing: Shraddha Kapoor said that she wanted to be a part of Rock On’s sequel always, was it the same with you? Anubhav gave me the DVD of this original movie but I didn’t see it. It was

intentional since I wanted my character to be real and not get influenced by Sandali’s in any way. So whatever I have done is extremely fresh and new. My character is totally different from the original one.

Tum Bin was a surprise hit – do you agree? I think Tum Bin had a strong word of mouth. The viewers who saw it, loved it all. And because Tum Bin worked at the box office, Aks couldn’t.

Exclusive Interview What about Anubhav Sinha? Was he a task master? Out of all the directors that I have worked with, Anubhav is a task master. He’s a disciplinarian. He doesn’t like joking around while filming which is exactly opposite to what I think. But again that’s the way he works and he believes in it so it’s ok.

How choosy are you about your movies? I have never planned such, but I always signed the best films that approached me. I work hard with full effort and you know that the result is not in my hands.

What do you have to say about your movie clashing with Force 2? John is a dear friend. I have worked with him and I wish him all the best for Force 2. I want both our films to do well. Both the movies belong to different genres. Both are 38

Do you think, it’s difficult for non industry people to enter this industry? It is difficult. I will lie if I say it is easy for an outsider to get a break. We are very fortunate to have received this chance since there are thousands of people who come to Mumbai everyday and not everyone succeeds and lived their dream.

Your future projects? I am shooting for the third instalment of Hera Pheri which is titled Hera Pheri 3. The film will release next year. Couple of projects are in discussion.

Here are the excerpts of her interview: In the promos of 'Dear Zindagi' your character Kyra has this restless energy. You are somewhat like that in reality too, right? I am restless in a good way and in a bad way. One of 102

the traits of my character in the film is that she can't see things kept in an organised manner. I am a lot like that. I am a little ulta. This restless energy also gives me some extra strength to go on for long hours without getting hassled.

How do you calm your nerves? Of late, I feel the need to

calm myself a lot more. I didn't care about it earlier but now, when so much is happening around me, sometimes being silent works. I know it's hard to believe, but I can be silent. In fact, I love being silent. If I am sitting with someone unfamiliar, I will not indulge in a conversation. I like talking to people I know and I don't spark a conversation because I think it's polite.

Like the song from the film, how often have you told yourself, 'Just Go To Hell Dil'? I don't know. Maybe as many times my heart has been broken, which I think is twice. I guess everyone goes through that phase. Even if your heart is not broken, you always find a way to feel bad about yourself. So the 'Just Go To Hell' moment happens quite often.

Did you have to work to stop being in awe of Shah Rukh Khan before sharing the frame with him? The first day of shoot was the kabaddi scene on the beach, where we had to show a certain familiarity. Obviously, I was in awe of him, so Gauri (Shinde, director) had to remind me that he's Jug, the character, in front of me, and not SRK. I've interacted with him in the past, but that was at social events. He's known my father for years, so he has natural fondness for me. In the course of this film, we actually got to know each

other. We were just aware of each other before working on 'Dear Zindagi'.

You have portrayed roles that require depth and maturity. Is it right to say that you've virtually grown up and matured before the camera? I've always said that I have grown up in the public eye. So, my life will be a little different. When my friends compare my life with theirs, I say it isn't a fair comparison.

But you also say that you are an old soul, right? People tell me that. Sometimes when they converse with me, they forget that I am a 23-yearold. I guess the way I have been brought up is very different. The conversations are deep in my family. As a result, my emotional quotient is high.

After your first

film, 'Student of the Year' (2012), you didn't hear the best things about yourself. You were judged all the time. Now, with every film, the pack of praise is only getting heavier. Do you feel a sense of pride? I believe that your first film chooses you. There on, you make the choices. In fact, I feel like going back to that space where I can do an all-out commercial film, with songs, dance and the glitz. I was never an actress who wanted to do only certain kind of roles. One thing I hugely lack in my body language is grace, which is why I want to do a Sanjay Leela Bhansali film. The other thing I lack is (physical) stability, which is why it's my dream to do a hard-core action film.

For the last four years, being in front of the camera has been my life. You were aware of the rules, and how fate changes every Friday. Did that prep make it a tad bit easier to embrace the highs, lows and the blows? Nope! No one is prepared to face the highs and lows, no matter how much you know about the industry. Even Steven Spielberg's daughter won't be prepared for the journey ahead of her. It is always your own journey, irrespective of the family you come from. I don't think your mum, dad, father or chachu can change that or mend that 104

for you. So, I want to punch all those people who say that star kids have it easy because it makes no sense. The way the world is today, either you have it or you don't. The only advantage that I have today is that if I want to talk to someone about issues, I can reach out to my father who has that experience. But even in this case, the first person I call is not my father. I call Karan Johar. When you are a part of the film world, there is a certain sense of belonging, you feel that hum sab ek hi khandaan ke hain. But even those who come from nonfilm backgrounds become part of this family.

' Shaandaar' was your first failure. Did it make you more realistic and cautious? A good film will always do well and a bad film will not. That's fate and I can't change it. I am realistic, and I will never disown my film. I don't regret doing 'Shaandaar' but I also know that it didn't turn out the way we thought it would. I'm not stupid to believe that it was a great film, but I feel that the experience has given me a lot. I will never defend it but I won't renounce it either. I'll

defend my film when I feel that it's a damn good film and you are still running it down. So many people come up to me and say that they didn't like 'Udta Punjab' or 'Highway', but there are far too many people who have loved it. So, to each his own. People see flashes of your sister Pooja Bhatt in you. She stood out for her choice of roles and performances. She's strong, opinionated and speaks her mind. A lot of people tell me that. I think it's the upbringing. Pooja and I might have different ideologies but we are cut from the same cloth, and it reflects in the way we

have shaped up.

With so many creative and opinionated people in the family, what are the conversations like at the Bhatts' residence? Oh, we fight all the time and have these stupid arguments. Mostly, the reasons are petty. My house is a mad place and no one wins an argument because everyone wants to put their foot down. I don't argue

with my dad over politics. Instead, whenever I want to know more, I ask him. We have a family group, and whenever I see that he's not commenting on something, I prod him and then he takes over. Of course, sometimes his answers are vague and he gives me ambiguous oneline answers too. Recently, Shah Rukh said that I should make bad choices also, and that I am too good, too soon. A few days later, I had a random message from dad saying, "Don't be a bonsai, be a mighty oak." And I am like, 'Hello, what is this? Please explain?' Then he told me what he meant and in what context. So, that's how we are as a family.

You said that 'Highway' changed you in many ways. Is there a role that has had a similar impact? 'Udta Punjab' had an effect, and it was a hard-hitting one. Actually, my character in 'Dear Zindagi' is very similar to me. I share too many shades of closeness with it. In one of the teasers, Kyra says that she hates couples. All of us have gone through that feeling where we have

hated relationships after a break-up. There are many such moments that most of us can connect with instantly.

You once said that you feel the safest in front of the camera. Is it because, in those moments, you can be someone else without the fear of being judged? For the last four years, being in front of the camera has been my life. I feel most comfortable there. When I am facing the camera, I am not myself. I am my character, so I don't have to think about anything else in the real world. Not that my life is difficult; my life is lovely, but for those few moments when I'm facing the camera, I feel safe because I am not playing myself. It's like this â&#x20AC;&#x201D; if you have been brought up in a particular home and you have to move out, and come back to it after a while, there is this sense of safety and belongingness, right? So, for me, coming back to the camera is like coming back home.
