Tanhaji : The Unsung Warrior Story : The film traces the life of the fierce Maratha warrior, Tanhaji Malusare, who was one of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s closest aides and a military leader. It focuses on the famous Battle of Sinhagad (February 4, 1670), which saw Tanhaji take on Udaybhan, a Rajput who fought for Aurangzeb against the Marathas.

Analysis : Under the Treaty of Purandar, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj (Sharad Kelkar) surrendered 23 forts to Aurangzeb (Luke Kenny), including the Kondhana (now called Sinhagad), which was of strategic importance.

Rajmata Jijabai (Padmavati Rao) swore that she would walk bare feet till the fort is recaptured by the Marathas. Four years later, Aurangzeb sends Udaybhan (Saif Ali Khan) with a huge army and a massive canon called 'naagin', to ensure that Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj cannot reclaim the fort. While Shivaji Maharaj plans a campaign, he doesn't want to send his trusted lieutenant and dear friend, Subedar Tanhaji Malusare on the battlefield, as the latter's son is about to get married. When Tanhaji gets to know of the 'mohim' (campaign), he implores Shivaji Maharaj to give him an opportunity to win Kondhana.

Final Word: The Unsung Warrior' scores on various counts — superior performances, powerful action, visual impact, and most of all, it unfolds a story from the pages of history that deserved to be told, with just this kind of intensity, passion and vigour.

Story :

Chhapaak

The life of a nineteen-year-old girl takes a turn when she is subjected to a horrific acid attack. But she resolves to fight for justice and reclaim her life.

Analysis : Meghna Gulzar’s ‘Chhapaak’ is inspired by the story of real life acid attack survivor, Laxmi Agarwal, who has become a symbol of strength and inspiration for many women. The film is a fictionalized account with Deepika Padukone playing the central character Malti, who is attacked in broad daylight on the streets of Delhi by a friend of the family, Bashir Khan aka Babbu and his aide.

As the narrative chooses a non-linear route, we first meet Malti when she is on a job hunt – consciously trying to move on from the emotional scars that the heinous crime has left her with. For the physical scars, she has to go through a number of complicated surgeries. In fact, far from the dreams she nursed of being a singer, her life is now an intersection of her work with an NGO for acid victims, her multiple surgeries and her court cases.

Final Word: ‘Chhapaak’ is not a film that lets you go easy, just as one begins to settle in to think Malti has managed to get better of her perpetrator, it jolts you with a few grim, uncomfortable reminders.

‘Chhaapak’ is a sensitive film with a delicate, yet powerful, handling of a heinous crime against women, and an important story that needs to be heard.

Story :

Sarileru Neekevvaru

Sarileru Neekevvaru is the story of an Army Major Ajay Krishna (Mahesh Babu) who dedicates his life for the country. One fine day, he travels to Kurnool on a mission and during this journey, he meets Samskruthi (Rashmika Mandanna) who falls for him. After reaching Kurnool, he meets Bharathi (Vijayashanthi) who fights with a well-known politician (Prakash Raj) and lands in trouble. The rest of Sarileru Neekevvaru is all about how Ajay sorts out all the issues and helps the family of Bharathi. Watch Sarileru Neekevvaru to know about the problem, the relation between Ajay, Bharathi and his secret mission.

Analysis : Sarileru Neekevvaru's first half is a perfect blend of all the needed commercial ingredients. Superstar fans will be left in wow with the army stuff and the first song 'Daang Daang'. The train episode looks hilarious and is packed with entertainment though it looks lengthy.

'He is so Cute' song will impress youth. The interval episode of Sarileru Neekevvaru is a blast and elevates the entire first half. It is the major highlight of the film. The entire first half of Sarileru Neekevvaru is a perfect treat.

The second half of Sarileru Neekevvaru takes an emotional and revenge path. The scenes between Mahesh Babu and Prakash Raj are packed with interesting narration. Vijayashanthi is the major emotional connect of the film. The songs have been canned well. The climax song 'Mind Block' is a perfect number and is the best song in the career of Mahesh.

Final Word: Sarileru Neekevvaru is a decent action and mass entertainer that is laced with enough dose of entertainment.

Mahesh Babu tops the show with his flawless performance.

Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo

Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo is the story of son swapping. A middle-class father Valmiki (Murali Sharma) swaps his son for his boss Ramachandra (Jayaram) and brings home his son. He raises Bantu (Allu Arjun) and the secret unfolds after 20 long years. Bantu reaches his home Vaikunthapurramu after coming to know about the truth and the rest of the film is all about what happens next. Watch Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo to know about the problems of his family and how he resolves them.

Analysis : Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo has a pleasant and decent first half and it is packed with all the commercial ingredients. Allu Arjun shines in the role and his episodes with Murali Sharma have been completely convincing. The songs are shot well and the emotional episodes are well-presented. Trivikram's dialogues are the major asset of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo and the first half of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo is completely passable.

The second half of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo is completely flawless and is packed with emotions. Allu Arjun stuns with his dance moves and when it comes to fights, he will be a treat for masses. The last forty minutes of the film is the major highlight of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. The film will impress the family crowds bigtime. Allu Arjun and Murali Sharma's performances stand out.

Final Word: Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo is a perfect Sankranthi treat and draws huge family crowds to theatres during the holiday season. A must watch.

Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior is a 2020 Indian Hindi-language biographical period action film starring Ajay Devgn, Saif Ali Khan, and Kajol. Directed by Om Raut, the film is set in the 17th century and based on the life of Tanaji Malusare, who was the military leader of Shivaji, founder of the Maratha Empire. he came from a Hindu Koli family.

pecial StOry The film depicts Tanhaji's attempts to recapture the Kondhana fortress once it passes on to the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb who transfers its control to his trusted guard Udaybhan Singh Rathore.

Principal photography commenced on 25 September 2018 and the film was theatrically released in 3D and conventional theatres in India on 10 January 2020. It received positive reviews from critics, who highlighted the action sequences, performances, and visual effects but criticized the filmmakers of historical revisionism to pander to a right-wing Hindu nationalist political climate. As of 1 February 2020, Tanhaji has earned Rs 323.33 crore worldwide.

After losing his father in an attack, Tanhaji grows up to become Maratha Emperor Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's military leader. As Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb seizes the strategic hill fortress Kondhana in order to make it the Mughal base of Southern India from where he could extend his empire, Shivaji, who gave away the fortress as the part of a peace treaty, tries to hide this from Tanhaji whose son is going to get married. When Tanhaji discovers about this, he sets out to stop Aurangzeb's trusted soldier Udaybhan Singh Rathore from reaching the fortress and taking control of it as per his king's orders. This forms the story of the film.

The film's music was composed by Ajay-Atul, Sachet-Parampara and Mehul Vyas with lyrics written by Swanand Kirkire and Anil Verma. Tanhaji is the first blockbuster for Bollywood in 2020.

Exclusive Interview Here is an interview of Naga Shaurya about Aswathama: Reason behind your emotional speech at the audio launch?

Right from the day, this film was launch, I have gone through various emotions in my life. I have closely seen every aspect of film making and how people stay with you and what are the problems you face. That is the reason I said I have learned a lot in this film. I have got the title of the film tattooed on my chest and you can understand how special the film is for me.

On whom is this film based?

I have a very close friend called Priya and I have written this story keeping her in mind. What if something happens to a girl close to me or in fact any other girl in the country. The story is quite relatable for every girl in society.

Did you allow changes that were requested by the director in your story?

From the day I started writing the story, Teja was with me. He gave

a lot of inputs and I happily added them in my story.

Teja has made the film in a superb manner and everyone watching the film are loving it. I thank the audience for making the film a huge hit.

Why did you opt for Ghibran in place of Sri Charan for the BGM? The moment we saw the final output, I felt that this needs to be taken to the next level and it will only happen with an experienced person like Ghibran. We met him in Chennai and he told us that he will only work on this film after he sees the movie.

He saw the film and liked it so much. His BGM is the biggest asset.

Comparisons with Rakshasudu?

Yes, the film has that flavor and in fact, the audience will also remember Khakee and Khaidi. As the investigation and some set up of the film is will have that flavor and will impress one and all.

Struggle after the failure of Nartanasala?

For six months, there was silence in our lives.

The respect, finance and many other factors were on a stake with me and my family. From the day the film began, we knew the output and as I gave the word to the director we went ahead.

The reason behind the change of image?

I am sick and tired of doing the same old love stories and also want to prove that I can do any sort of role in my career. As an actor, I want to grow and Ashwathama is the first step.

Your future projects in your production?

There are so many projects in my production house and I am writing a love story as of now. I am planning to make this film with a young hero. Everything depends on how this film works out at the box office.

Chhapaak is a 2020 Indian Hindi-language drama film directed

by Meghna Gulzar and produced by Deepika Padukone and Meghna Gulzar in collaboration with Fox Star Studios. Based on the life of Laxmi Agarwal, it stars Padukone as an acid attack survivor, alongside Vikrant Massey.

The film was announced on 24 December 2018 by Padukone on her Twitter account; it marks her first production venture. Filming took place from March to June 2019 in New Delhi and Mumbai. Days before the film's release, Padukone visited students who were brutalized during the 2020 JNU Attack, which led to a divided response on Twitter. A few right-wing magazines later wrongly reported that the religion of the acid thrower in the film was changed from a Muslim into a Hindu character.

The film was theatrically released in India on 10 January 2020. The film was allowed by the government to be exhibited without payment of taxes in the states of Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. It received positive reviews from critics but the film failed to rake decent numbers in its final run. The film is based on the real-life story of acid attack

survivor Laxmi Agarwal.

Chhapaak earned Rs 4.77 crore at the domestic box office on its opening day. On the second day, the film collected Rs 6.90 crore. On the third day, the film collected Rs 7.35 crore, taking total opening weekend collection to Rs 19.02 crore. As of 31 January 2020, with a net of Rs 39.35 crore in India and Rs 16.03 crore overseas, the film has a worldwide gross collection of Rs 55.38 crore.

The film's music is composed by Shankar– Ehsaan–Loy while lyrics are written by Gulzar.

The film stars Shahrukh Khan as Kabir Khan, former captain of the Indian men's national field-hockey team. After a disastrous loss to Pakistan, Khan is ostracized from the sport and he and his mother are driven from the family home by angry neighbors. Seven years later, to redeem himself, Khan becomes the coach of the Indian national women's hockey team and aims to turn its sixteen contentious players into a championship unit.

Chak De! India won a number of awards, including the National Film Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment. On 30 August 2007, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences requested a copy of the film's script for a place in its Margaret Herrick Library. When the Indian Hockey Federation was reorganized in April 2008, former player Aslam Sher Khan said that he wanted "to create a 'Chak De' effect" in Indian hockey. The film

was screened in New Delhi on 17 August 2016, as part of the weeklong Independence Day Film Festival.

The festival was jointly presented by the Indian Directorate of Film Festivals and Ministry of Defense, commemorating India's 70th Independence Day. Chak De! India premiered on 9 August 2007 at Somerset House in London to an audience of over 2,000 during the Film4 Summer Screen and India Now festivals. It was released globally in theaters on 10 August 2007, playing on only 400 screens in India because of the commercial failure of Yash Raj Films's two previous films. The film has been named as one of the best films in the career of Shah Rukh Khan.
