He falls in love with Hemanika (Trisha) who is a divorced and a mother of a kid. She will be murdered and Satyadev traces out the murderers and he will be left in shock. fter Balakrishna, Jr NTR has such charisma from the Nandamuri family who can set the box office ablaze. But its been quite a while now, Jr NTR did not impress the audience with his previous outings. Some criticised NTR for running behind successful directors but eventually ended on the other side of the success. With blockbuster hit was far away from NTR nonetheless, his craze did not fade even a single inch. Still some movie buffs believe that NTR can strike back with bang and so his upcoming has been the talk of the industry. ‘Temper’ not the most anticipated movie of the year but it is also the first collaboration of NTR with director Puri Jagannadh who earlier gave a dud like ‘Andhrawala.’ So what would we expect from a Puri film who made most of them on the lines of mafia but there is something other than that. Well, it is NTR’s appearance who looked absolutely stunning. When NTR was for the first time spotted shirtless, those images went viral in the web. Also sporting his six abs body, it was a delight for fans, who were wishing to see, NTR more stylish. Then followed the teaser. NTR who played twice the role of a cop, had mixed response for those films. But ‘Temper’ will have a different treatment because there is an external hand in the script. Popular writer Vakkantham Vamsi provided the script for ‘Temper’ and for sure, the content would not be a routine one. NTR is playing the role of Daya in the film, a police who fears nothing. The dialogue he uttered in the teaser may not reveal the plot but has raised the bar.

TR who is desperate to score a hit, preferred his lucky charm for ‘Temper.’ Kajal Aggarwal who was part of ‘Brindhavanam’ and ‘Baadshah’ will be romancing NTR in ‘Temper’ too. Apart from Kajal, Madhurima will be seen as NTR’s sister and another former actress has been roped in to play an important role in the film. Remember Sonia Aggarwal of 7G Brindavan Colony? If reports are to be believed the actress has been signed on to play a significant role in the film. We don’t know what is her role going to be and so do the film unit don’t want to reveal anything.

While shooting the film had bitter experiences, NTR’s brother Janakiram died in a road accident which brought a small break to the shoot. Nevertheless, NTR overcame all the odds and will be finally arriving in the month of February. This is also a big opportunity for Anup Rubens who is providing music for this stylish entertainer. If ‘Temper’ does well, it will be new life for NTR, Puri Jagannadh, Anup Rubens and Bandla Ganesh.

Grape vine BOLLYWOOD ABHISHEK DOES A CAMEO! Actor Abhishek Bachchan who is producing his dad’s ‘Shamitabh’ will be seen in a special appearance in the same movie. Well, it was not a scripted one but an unexpected that happened. Abhishek who landed in Mumbai from London got to know that his dad Big B was shooting at the airport. He dropped in the sets and director Balki immediately captured him. There is no specific role or dialogue for Abhishek, it just happened said a film unit member.

DON’T DESERVE BHARAT RATNA: BIG B Bollywood Megastar Amitabh Bachchan politely disagreed with West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s suggestion that he should have been honoured with the Bharat Ratna instead of Padma Vibhushan. The 72-year-old actor, who is also the recipient of the Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri, took it on Twitter to express his views. “@MamataOfficial Mamata di... I am not deserving of such recognition... Most humbled and honoured by what the Nation has given me..!!,” wrote Big B.

AAMIR AS AGING WRESTLER After playing an alien in Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘PK’, Mr. Perfectionist, Aamir Khan is all geared up for his next project, wherein he will be playing the father of two girls. Aamir’s look is revealed from ‘Dangal’ and plays a wrestler in the film, was spotted sporting a close shaved head and a graying beard. Aamir has been working out on his physique for ‘Dangal’ which is a biopic on the life of wrestler Mahavir Phogat, who is the father of India women wrestlers Geeta and Babita. 22

The Pataudi princess was seen in a pink Ritu Kumar kurta at her homely Mehendi ceremony, while the wedding reception night saw her in a fuschia pink Sanjay Garg lehenga. AKSHAY’S BABY BANNED IN PAK

KANGANA IN BIOPIC! Actress Kangana Ranaut has reportedly said yes to Hansal Mehta who is planning to make a biopic on mountaineer Bachendri Pal. Kangana has never worked in a biopic and this would be her first real-life inspired film. As the film is based on real-life mountaineer, Kangana is set to undergo training and the project will have a formal launch in September as Kangana and director Hansal Mehta are preoccupied with their commitments. Kangana is presently busy with ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’ and ‘Katti Batti’.

Akshay Kumar-starrer has been banned in Pakistan. According to Pakistani media reports, the film has been banned “because it portrays a negative image of Muslims, and the negative characters in the film also have Muslim names”. Interestingly, just a few days ago, the director of the film Neeraj Pandey had clarified that the film is not antiPakistan. “Baby isn’t an anti-Pakistan film. See, some elements in Pakistan can be wrong but a whole nation cannot be wrong,” said the director. The film’s lead actor, Akshay Kumar, had also emphasised that the film has “three Pakistani actors who play very important roles”.

ARJUN RAMPAL MEETS GANGSTER Actor Arjun Rampal who served notice by the Mumbai police for meeting gangster Arun Gawli. According to the sources, Arjun Rampal did not sought permission for the official for meeting the gangster and reportedly he held talks for one hour. MS, AHUTI PASS AWAY Tollywood has lost two actors in the form of MS Narayana and Ahuti Prasad. While actor Ahuti died of cancer, comedian MS Narayana breathed his last with malaria. Born as Adsumilli Janardhana Prasad, he came to be known as Ahuti Prasad for his much-acclaimed performance as a villain in the film ‘Ahuti’ in 1980s. The actor had played negative roles during the early years of his career in the 1980s but gained prominence as a character artiste later on. MS Narayana had been to Bhimavaram to celebrate Sankranthi festival with family. Doctors cited multiorgan failure as the cause of death. He was initially diagnosed with malaria in a hospital in Bhimavaram and brought to a corporate hospital here about four days ago. He then complained of chest pain and was put on ventilator for the last two days. When his kidneys did not function properly he was given dialysis too.

BAAHUBALI 12 MINS LEAKED Footage of magnum opus movie ‘Baahubali’ got leaked which angered director SS Rajamouli. The makers acted promptly and filed a complaint too. The complaint was lodged with Central Crime Station (CCS)--a wing of Hyderabad Police, who have booked a case under relevant sections of IPC. The DCP said the film was given to a company involved in visual effects and they suspected the role of an employee of that company behind the incident. The police have nabbed the culprit.

STORY The movie is about an undercover unit called Baby headed by Feroz Ali Khan (Danny Denzongpa). This group has stopped many terror operations in the past and have been successful at their profession. Ajay (Akshay Kumar) is also a part of the team which start a new mission to stop a bunch of terrorists. Ajay gets through a huge plan from the ISI which are working for Maulana Mohammad Rahman (Rasheed Naaz). Ajay plans with the help of various officers to spoil the mission off ISI and the rest of the movie is did he succeed.

Analysis The movie starts on an interesting note right from the first scene and the movie picks up gradually. The movie manages the pace along with the interest and the audience rarely get time to take off the sight. The complete first half has been engaging. The second half of the movie too maintains the same momentum and pace as the first half of the film and the interest and the suspense has been carried well till the end. The climax has been a bit simplified but on the whole, the complete movie has been highly satisfactory.

But sadly, the movie was not accepted by Pakistan and it was banned in the country for screening. All CDs and DVDs of the film have also been banned in Islamabad. A representative of the film’s distributor, Everready Pictures informed the paper that the film has been banned in Pakistan. Earlier, director Neeray Pandey was quoted as saying that the film was not “anti-Pakistan” or “anti-Islam”. The board routinely bans films deemed to have ‘anti-Pakistan’ themes. In the past, the local censor board banned ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ that featured an Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) agent. Despite all the odds, Baby collected Rs 50 crores at the box office in the first weekend. Ratnam’s “Raavan” is said to be a modern interpretation of the epic “Ramayana”. It also stars southern superstar Vikram, who plays a cop married to Aishwarya. The director simultaneously shot “Raavan” in Tamil and Hindi at various locations, including the Athirapally forests in Kerala, Ooty in Tamil Nadu, Jhansi in Uttar Pradesh, Kolkata, and the Malshej Ghats in Maharashtra. The film has lots of action scenes and stunts performed by the actors. Ratnam completed the film despite health problems. “Once you work with him, you will be in awe of him because of the talent he brings to the table. The minute he says cut, he turns into a dear friend. He is someone very close to me. I really feel a strong bond with him. But in front of the camera, you don’t have to work to give him the respect - it just comes... He is truly just the best,” said Abhishek. It was Ratnam who gave Abhishek his first hit in “Yuva” and they later worked together in “Guru”. Talking about his character, Abhishek said: “Beera is the most fun character I have played. The fifth edition of CELEBRITY CRICKET LEAGUE [CCL] was won by TELUGU WARRIORS team who have defeated CHENNAI RHINOS in the Sunday final at Rajiv Gandhi stadium in Uppal. Telugu Warriors team won the toss and elected to bat first. From the beginning of the innings, Chennai Rhinos batsmen were restricted and not given much room to score runs. Telugu Warriors bowlers bowled in tight line and did a great job. In the end, Chennai team posted a total of 132 runs on the board. Chasing the total, Telugu Warriors finished the game with two overs to spare. This is the first CCL title for the Telugu Warriors and stunningly they haven’t lost a single match in this year’s edition of tournament. Vikram became a southern superstar after being in the industry for over a decade. And actor Vikram says that it is his will power that has kept him going. He carries his star power rather lightly on his shoulders.

Vikram, better recognised as Chiyaan Vikram (he even signs autographs under that name) by Tamil movie buffs, willingly poses for photographs, signs autographs, smiles readily, cracks jokes and more importantly, arrives before time.

Vikram has been the talk of the town for his magnum opus ‘I’ that hit the screens for Pongal. From that of a body builder to a model to a crippled hunchback, Vikram came out in flying colours, though the film failed to get a unanimous thumbs up from the audience. Among the three different roles, he played in ‘I,’ Vikram feels the third role which required him to lose weight radically took a toll on him, both physically and mentally. The preparation for the third role begins with hitting the gym for six hours besides cycling 15 km every day. The lunch comprised half an apple, an egg white, banana stem juice and a boiled vegetable along with a fish every two hours. Not just him, Vikram’s family too sacrificed a lot for him. His family was also completely cut off from the rest of the world until he finished the film. The passion for acting and cinema, makes him go the extra mile for his characters. For him acting is not a job that helps to earn money. It’s something he loves. Not just ‘I’, if any of Vikram’s movies demand that extra effort, he will definitely comply. You can expect Vikram to do such things in the future too, otherwise it won’t be Vikram and that describes what acting is to him in one sentence. Vikram is not worried about the divided talk to the film and says he has met the expectations of the audience. When there is so much hype surrounding a film, it’s natural that everyone will not be pleased. Though critics and the industry had different opinions, the audiences loved it. ‘I’ got maximum number of screens in TN, AP, Telangana and Kerala and it’s not like one of those films which got booked for the first three days and the collections dipped after that, ‘I’ is still running successfully at box office. The film had collected Rs 100 crores and ‘I’ is the first movie of Vikram to enter 100 crore club.

ranathy Gangaraju of Georgia has been crowned Miss India USA, 2014. Ms Raju is the first 19-year-old to win the title and she is also the first Telugu girl in the last 20 years to be crowned Miss India USA. This year’s finals of the oldest running Indian pageant outside India, were held at the Royal Albert’s Palace, Fords, in New Jersey. Film actor Richa Gangopadhyay had won the pageant in 2007. Ms Raju was born in Hanamkonda in Warangal. Her mother, Maitreyi Sharma, hails from there. Her father, Ram Gangaraju, who owned a software company earlier, hails from Vijayawada. Ms Raju was raised in Vijayawada before she moved to the US. She is currently a student in Los Angeles. Speaking to DC from the US, Mr Ram Gangaraju said, “She worked hard to keep herself fit. She speaks Telugu well and is a great Kathak dancer.” She will represent USA in the 24th Annual Miss India Worldwide Pageant to be held in Goa in June 2016. Pranathy has inner beauty too.
