Wecanonlydrawpresumptionssurroundingthemakingofanarchitecturalgem.Aligningwiththeequinox points,Stonehengecomposedheavenlyevents.Duringmidsummer,thesunriseneartheHeelStone, illuminatingthemonument’scenterdepictsintentionalalignment.TheSundusksperfectlybetweenthelargest sarsenstoneswhichindicatesanotherdeliberatesetofarrangement.Stonehengedevelopednotonlyasa spiritualmonumentbutalsoasafunctionalclockthatpredictssolstices.Itisatestamenttoancient inventivenesswhichservesasboth,atimekeeperandasymbolofpower
