they are on their unique life journeys. This client-centered approach has earned her trust and made a meaningful impact on many lives. Kelsey continues to guide and uplift individuals with unwavering support and understanding. Overcoming the Challenges Kelsey faced the challenge of starting her business online from the beginning. To overcome this, she took a strategic approach. For the first six months, Kelsey consistently posted numerous testimonials on platforms like Instagram and Facebook. “There’s this misconception that as a business owner you’re going to make money right off the bat and that’s simply not the case. You are usually working for free in the first year to help build a sustainable client base and brand. You have to be okay with this in the first year and stay disciplined and consistent.” “Within nine months, I achieved significant expansion, and I'm excited to now have clients in seven countries.”, she further adds. This journey underscores the importance of dedication and effective use of social media. By sharing
positive client experiences through testimonials, Kelsey not only built trust but also created a global community of satisfied customers. “Moving forward, I'm committed to continuing this growth and reaching even more people worldwide with my services.” Guiding the Path to Success “The reason behind my company’s long-standing success is my authenticity and transparency with my clients.” Kelsey understands the kind of information she is dealing with is both heavy and personal. Considering the privacy and vulnerability of her clients, she makes sure that she is careful in the way she words the messages coming through for the clients during her readings. Ultimately, the way the messages are articulated can make all the difference according to Kelsey. Kelsey’s fairly non-traditional approach is what counts for KelseyCrystal LLC’s long standing success. The method Kelsey uses is what is referenced as the Automatic Writing which is where a pen is guided by spirit and draws out the messages as Kelsey channels the energy. She is also

a Somatic Practitioner and offers separate sessions for it. Somatic Practices are used to help facilitate healing through specific breathing patterns and body movements to help release trauma from the body using a bottom-up approach. Meaning, processing trauma via the body first, then the mind. This is exceptionally helpful with those who are used to intellectualizing their feelings as this can keep people stuck in a rumination cycle. Processing feelings through the body in a safe space, helps us both process, and release, feelings and traumas that can potentially cause ailments in the body. Meeting Shifting Customer Expectations “I’m a firm believer if you are offering services as a business owner, you should demonstrate transparency, authenticity, and empathy above all else.” Customer demands will always change as that is a part of human nature. As a business owner, it is important to admit that you won’t always know everything and that sometimes you have to change things to keep up with evolving customer preferences. To adapt to this fast-paced environment, Kelsey is always alert and makes the best use of social media platforms before implementing any of these. One thing she always does is the posting of surveys on Instagram. By doing this, she gets a clear idea of client’s preferences for what they want to see a change in, or even what they want to see more of. “This is a very vital step prior to changing any services; client input and preference”, Kelsey adds.

Taking a Step into the Future “I began adding Somatic Stress Release Sessions last year and shortening the length of my readings so I could show up at 100 percent for each client and not burn myself out.” Says Kelsey. Kelsey chose to become a certified Somatic Practitioner in addition to her readings so that she could provide more value to her clientbase. One common theme she noticed with her readings was every client was currently experiencing or had experienced, some form of trauma. In order for her to find a way to better serve her clients in these situations, Kelsey chose to become certified as a Somatic Practitioner via The Embody Lab. As future steps to give more value and a complete healing experience to her clients, Kelsey is currently doing additional training through Somatic Experiencing International. Women’s Corner In this exciting give and take with Kelsey, CIO Women Magazine has unearthed a number of tips and tricks from Kelsey herself. These series of questions and Kelsey’s views on them will help you navigate the complex business world, and how to stand your ground no matter what! According to you, what are the ideal qualities a woman leader should possess? Integrity, morals, ethics, consistency, empathy, compassion, tenacity. As a woman leader, what has been the biggest challenge in your career? Have you ever confronted any gender-related barriers? My biggest challenge has been not listening to what others wanted and expected me to do and how to run my business, and trusting my intuition instead. I think anytime you’re a woman running a successful business, you’re going to experience gender-related barriers. As a woman in business, you have to work ten times harder to establish and prove yourself. This is slowly starting to change.
How do you ensure women inclusion and empowerment in your organization? I ensure inclusion and empowerment in my business through the clients I accept. I have clients in seven countries who have the most beautiful cultures and life experiences. They have taught me so much about their cultures and why inclusion is not only important, but also needed, in all facets of life. What is your definition of feminism? My definition of feminism is supporting women in both gender-related and marginalized-related issues. Women are still a marginalized part of society. This is slowly changing and is still the reality of the society we live in here in America. The more we as women can come together and genuinely support one another, the more we are healing society as a whole. We have been silenced and made to feel small for centuries. This is changing, fast, and I couldn’t be more excited and happy to be a woman due to this. Whom do you look up to as a source of inspiration and why? (you can name any woman leader that inspired you). Selena Gomez. I am really inspired by her and feel I can relate to her due to having experienced similar health conditions years back which changed the trajectory of my life and how I viewed life in general. I also take mental health very seriously and am a big advocate of getting the help you need if you have the resources to do so. Beyond the cabin, how do you ensure a perfect work-life balance? I don’t. I honor where I am at and how I am feeling in addition to how much capacity I have at that current moment, and I proceed from there. I don’t believe a perfect work-life balance exists here in America. In other countries, possibly. What would be your advice to the aspiring women entrepreneurs? To follow your intuition and keep showing up for yourself and your clients. Do not take advice from those you wouldn’t gladly want to trade places with and always stand up for yourself. “Be assertive.”

World's Largest Ferris Wheel ondon Eye, also known as the Millennium Wheel, is the world's largest wheel located in London. Near the banks of the river Thames, it enjoys the throne of most popular tourist attraction in the United Kingdom. The structure is 135 meters tall and the diameter of the wheel is 120 meters. The architecture and design credit goes to Marks Barfield Architects which was launched in 2000. The structure has donned the hat of winning over 85 awards for national and international tourism, outstanding architectural quality, and engineering achievement. It was launched by the company in 2000. The London Eye celebrated its 20th birthday in 2020. The entry was declared free for tourists who wanted to have a look.
What is the history behind The London Eye? The London Eye is an entry that was submitted in a competition by Marks Barfield Architects. In 1993, the competition was sponsored by The Sunday Times and Great Britain's Architecture Foundation. It was submitted in anticipation that it would act as a new landmark to commemorate the millennium in London. Even though no winner was declared, the company took charge of the development of the project. The construction began in 1998 and the wheel was put horizontally, over the river, before being put upright. By this time it was known as the London Eye, it was officially opened by then-Prime Minister Tony Blair on December 31, 1999. It was planned to dismantle the monument for about 5 years, but its popularity was so high that the London Eye stayed with us. In 2006, an attractive LED lighting system was installed to make the wheel flamboyant after dark.

The 32 capsules on the London Eye represent the 32 Boroughs of London. Each of these holds 25 people at a time. The boroughs are air-conditioned and each weighs 10 tonnes. The eye's capsules rotate at 26 cm per second. A single spin of the London Eye takes 30 minutes. Each capsule has a number from 1 to 12 and then 14 to 32. The number 13 is omitted as it is considered a bad omen. In 2013, to draw attention, one of the capsules was named the Coronation Capsule to mark the 60th anniversary of the coronation of Queen Elizabth II.
