With the recent developments in the profession, we would expect to see a rapid growth in the CIQS and Quantity Surveying profession in the next 10–15 years . Areas such as information technology and sustainable construction would favour the growth . We also need to focus on ways to encourage women to join the quantity surveying profession . Overall, quantity surveyors should improve and diversify their roles more to provide greater value to stakeholders .
