WELCOME Welcome to our forty seventh annual Circle Craft Christmas Market! Since the early seventies when we organized our first show at the Cultch, Circle Craft has strived to bring you the work of Canada’s finest craftspeople. We are proud to present over three hundred and twenty-five artisans, eighty-two of whom are new to the show. These artisans, representing every province of Canada, cover the spectrum from cottage industries, to artists producing one of a kind, collectible, and architectural works. While their production is varied, you’ll find a common thread of commitment to quality. As western Canada’s largest one-of-a-kind gift fair, the Circle Craft Christmas Market offers a spectacular assortment of carefully handcrafted work: exquisite jewellery, hip fashions, stylish home décor; delicious jams, chocolates and holiday nibbles; fine woodcarvings, soaps and candles; and so much more! Woven, knitted, painted, potted, hammered, spun, sewn, twisted, turned, canned, or baked, you’ll find something unique for that “special someone” on your list! This show is fueled by passion; the passion of the craftspeople who produce, the passion of those who volunteer their time to act as Board Members, the passion of the staff (many of whom take holidays, or a leave of absence from their regular jobs to participate), and you----who return year after year, to see what is new and to interact with our talented artisans! Entertainment Each year, Circle Craft enjoys the opportunity to share the skills and talents of many individuals. Please enjoy the entertainment areas in the main aisle of the show where dancers and musicians of all ages perform.
Artisan & Pottery Demonstrations Don’t miss the many artist demonstrations happening throughout the show. There are weavers, seamstresses, jewellers, leather makers, flower creations, stamping demonstrations, glass beading and an active pottery wheel. Keep your eyes peeled.
