Joan Medlen is the mother of two sons, one diagnosed with Down Syndrome, Celiac Disease and Autism. Ms. Medlen is a nutritionist, speaker, editor of Disability Solutions, and the author of the Down Syndrome Nutrition Handbook: A Guide to Promoting a Healthy Lifestyle.
