Upcoming Events Andreas Ekstöm Andrea’s Ekström will visit the Middle and Senior School on 14 September to talk to students about his new book The Google Code. This is a rare opportunity for students to learn how Google has transformed their generation’s world. Andreas also explores the hidden features of Google, which will provide students with valuable tools for scholarship.
James Deem Author and educator, James M. Deem will visit CIS on 17-18 November 2011 in connection to Book Week. James writes historical and scientific nonfiction books on subjects such as: How to Make a Mummy Talk: Egyptian Mummification Bodies from the Ash: Life and Death in Ancient Pompeii Bodies from the Ice: Melting Glaciers and Rediscovery of the Past His talks are highly motivational so that students will be excited to do more reading and research on their own . James also works interactively with the children and gets rave reviews from teachers and students.
