An absurd and macabre classic of modern theatre. Languishing between life and death, the tyrant Hamm and his dutiful but resentful companion Clov are irrevocably bound to one another. They pass their days in a filthy, bare room, caught in a loop of futile routines. Their endless and brutal verbal jousting match is punctured only by the nostalgic reminiscing of Hamm’s parents, reduced to living in rubbish bins. Endgame makes a grim joke of life, and finds laughter in the darkness. Director Dominic Hill brings his talent for gripping and absorbing contemporary interpretations of classic texts to Beckett’s masterpiece.

A dark and stylish new adaptation of the British crime thriller. Jack Carter is back home for the first time in years. He’s back to bury a brother who hated him, in a town he swore he was never going to see again. He wants to pay debts, settle scores and discover who killed his brother. As the local underworld closes ranks, Jack’s bosses back in London find out that he’s had his fingers in the till, and other places they shouldn’t have been. Jack plays a deadly game of cat and mouse as everyone tries to Get Carter. Unless he gets them first. Ted Lewis’ novel is a classic of British crime fiction. Set in a hard and uncompromising 1960s Newcastle rife with crime, sex, gambling and violence, this adaptation tells the story made famous by the 1971 film starring Michael Caine. On a midsummer’s night, four young lovers find themselves wrapped in the dream-like arms of an enchanted forest where sprites lurk and fairies rule. While a feuding Fairy King and Queen are at war, their paths are crossed by Bottom, Quince and their friends presenting a play within a play.
