CREATIVE TEAM ALASDAIR HANKINSON | TODD/CLIFF

Alasdair graduated from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in July 2012. His professional credits include: Doctor Faustus (Citizens Theatre/West Yorkshire Playhouse); Sleeping Beauty (Citizens Theatre); #neednothing (Arches Live!); The History Boys (Greenwich Theatre); Kasimir and Karoline (NTS Rehearsal Reading) and The Legend of Captain Crow’s Teeth (Unicorn Theatre, London). He has just finished filming for the upcoming Untitled Projects / NTS show Paul Bright’s Confessions of a Justified Sinner. Whilst training, Alasdair was the recipient of a Laurence Olivier Bursary and is currently one of two Citizens Theatre Actor Interns.

LUCY HOLLIS | JOAN Lucy is one of the Actor Interns at the Citizens Theatre. Her theatre credits include: Takin’ Over the Asylum (Citizens Theatre/Royal Lyceum Theatre) and Sleeping Beauty (Citizens Theatre). Lucy graduated from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland where she worked with Vanishing Point’s Matthew Lenton, playing Mina in Liz Lochead’s Dracula. During her third year, Lucy also took part in NTS’s Arab Spring Season at the Òran Mór, playing Farah in Could You Please Look into the Camera.

DOMINIC HILL | DIRECTOR Dominic Hill is Artistic Director of the Citizens Theatre and has directed Doctor Faustus, Sleeping Beauty, Krapp’s Last Tape and Footfalls, King Lear and Betrayal (winner of Best Director, 2012 Critics Awards for Theatre in Scotland) for the theatre. From 2008, he was Artistic Director of the Traverse Theatre in Edinburgh. Prior to this he worked at Dundee Rep where he was Associate Director and Joint Artistic Director. Other credits include Falstaff (Scottish Opera) and The City Madam (Royal Shakespeare Company). He has directed in theatres in London and throughout the UK.

NEIL HAYNES | DESIGNER Designs include: Hansel and Gretel, After the End, Topdog/Underdog, My Name is Rachel Corrie, Grapes of Wrath, They Shoot Horses, Don’t They? MAX BARTON | ASSISTANT DIRECTOR Max is the Associate Director at Jermyn Street Theatre and is Resident Assistant Director at the Citizens Theatre. His directing credits include: Hamlet (Kronborg Castle, Elsinore), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (European Tour), The Golem (showcase), Red and White (Drama Centre), The Curse of Macbeth, (The Playhouse at the Fringe), Metamorphosis (C(too), Edinburgh), The Shape of Things (Corpus Playroom); Noises Off, No Magic and Bedroom Farce (ADC Theatre, Cambridge), Pool (no water) (Homerton Studio). Max was resident assistant director to Trevor Nunn on A Chorus of Disapproval (Harold Pinter Theatre).
