MEDICARE & MEDICAID: WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE?

Medicare and Medicaid are government-run health care programs meant to serve different populations. Medicare is an insurance program that serves people 65 and older, and those who have been on disability for over 2 years. Medicaid is an assistance program that can pay Medicare premiums and other costs for some people as well as nursing home and personal care services. Some people are eligible for both Medicare and Medicaid. This free class will help you make sense of the two.
