Surrounded by the sounds of the season, this is the perfect opportunity to come and see what Kindermusik is all about. As we tell the story of "The Night Before Christmas," we'll jingle along with "Jingle Bells," clipclop our horses "Over the River and Through the Woods," march out our "Joy to the World" and rock to "Silent Night." You'll even take home a Holiday mp3 album and instrument to enjoy for the holidays!

Art for Mindfulness is a small but mighty way to introduce simple, mindfulness activities that can promote brain health and flexible thinking, as well as reduce stress and anxiety. In this workshop, we will explore a variety of drawing and journaling activities to develop your own creative self care routine. Through experimentation, risk taking, and breaking some rules, we will learn simple mindful art practices that promote relaxation, stress relief, and an increased sense of well-being.

Tuesday and Thursday classes will be learning the basics of hand building pottery or elevating your current skill set using pinch, coil and slab handbuilding techniques. Suggested projects will include pinch pot sculpture, planter pot and vessel construction, as well as a variety of decorative techniques to bring your pieces to the next level.This class is for beginner or advanced hand builders. Students in Kindergarten through 5th Grade can build confidence and fluency in their abilities by reading aloud to trained therapy dogs. Swap your used holiday decorations and wrapping paper for an eco-friendly way to bring new to you ornamentation home! A decoration swap is an event where new and gently used decorations are exchanged. Community members are encouraged to trade secondhand decorations, all of which are available for free and while supplies last.
