Broomfield Depot Museum And Crawford Honey House Open Hour

Come explore Broomfield's History at the Broomfield Depot Museum and Crawford Honey House! The Broomfield Depot and the Crawford Honey House are two of the oldest extant buildings in Broomfield. Built in 1909, the Broomfield Depot was the ‘live-in’ train depot for the Colorado and Southern Railroad. Originally located along 120th Ave. near the grain silos, the Depot has been run as a Museum since it was moved to its current location in Zang Spur Park in 1976. The Crawford Honey House dates to 1905. It was built by the Crawford family as a place to process honey from their apiary, which housed over 1,000 beehives during its heyday. The Honey House was renovated in 2022 as an exhibit and programming space and now showcases Broomfield’s agricultural history and the story of beekeeping and the Crawford family.
