Cityland Mall becomes the Entertainment Sponsor of the 12th Global RLI Awards Cityland Mall participated as the main 'Entertainment Sponsor' of the London West End Show 'Motown' at the prestigious twelfth Annual Global RLI Awards, the world’s only global retail and leisure magazine, plays host to retail and leisure developments and operators to celebrates and reward the success and creativity of the industry’s most impressive retail developments, leading retailers, leisure operators and affiliated business partners, through concepts, initiatives and design excellence across the globe.

The award ceremony was held on the 10th of May 2017, at the Palazzo Versace Hotel, Dubai UAE, and drew an audience of more than hundreds of highly respected business leaders around the globe representing some of the biggest names in the global retail industry and shopping mall development.

The night started with a fantastic champagne reception and complimentary bar, after which guests were invited to be seated for the main event of the evening, which included entertainment in the form of the West End show ‘Motown’, an exquisite four‐course meal and, of course, the awards ceremony itself. To close the evening perfectly there was a spectacular After Party with complimentary bar, offering an ideal opportunity to celebrate to all of this year’s winners.

In her opening speech, RLI Publisher Jayne Rafter said: “Tonight, we pay tribute to the very best of the best, the innovators and those that dare to push the boundaries; we reward those dynamic projects and concepts that excite the senses with stunning architecture, exemplary customer service, products that ‘wow’ and that aren’t afraid to take risks, refusing to settle for anything but the very best.”
