Basket Making

Specified Mondays, 10am

Join us for basket making on June 5 and/or 26. Learn to make quality woven baskets to keep for yourself or give as gifts. Frances Shirley is a great, patient, knowledgeable instructor and will help you complete quality baskets. Register in advance to attend.

Landmark Tours Travel Show

Wednesday, June 14, 10am

Leave your worries behind as you fly to exciting, well-planned vacation destinations with Landmark Tours, a high-quality company who cares about your experience. Full color brochures and a representative to answer your travel questions are the agenda for this event. Advanced registration required.

Blaine Bicycle Club

Specified Wednesdays, May - October, 10am

Ride on local trails led by volunteer bicyclists on Wednesdays. Rides are about 10 to 16 miles long and the pace is leisurely. Sometimes a beverage or lunch stop is added to the ride. To stay informed of ride dates and locations, get on the email list with Deb McPeck at debramcpeck@gmail.com

Blaine Trailblazers Walking

Specified Mondays May - October, 9am

Trails are approximately 1.5-3 miles in length. Wear comfortable clothing, good walking shoes, and dress for the weather. Maps and trail schedules are available at the MAYC. There is no walking group. Monday, June 19. For more information contact group leader Beverly Kronstedt.

Prize/Nickel Bingo

Monday, June 26, 1pm

Good neighbor rules apply. Win a prize on your first bingo, thereafter, the neighbor to the right who has not yet won, gets to choose a prize. Pay a nickel per card per round to win the collection cup. All are eligible to win one prize, collection cup each round, and coverall.

500 Card Tournament

Tuesday, June 27, 1pm, $2 per person

Register in advance to participate. Cash prizes awarded at end of play along with an ice cream treat.

Cribbage Tournament

Thursday, June 29, 1pm, $2 per person

Register in advance with your partner by June 22. Cash prizes awarded at end of play along with an ice cream treat.

Independence Day Party

Monday, July 3, 11am, $5

Wear red/white/blue if you please, as we celebrate the birth of our nation with patriotic music by the Silver Ukes (ukulele group). Refreshments will be available to enjoy as light and lively tunes such as Yankee Doodle Dandy and This Land is Your Land resound throughout the dining room. Register by June 27 to join us for this festive luncheon celebration.

Movie of the Month

80 for Brady, Thursday, June 8, 1pm, Free Starring Lily Tomlin, Jane Fonda, Rita Moreno, and Sally Field, this true story about four best friends living life to the fullest gets even more fun when they take a wild trip to see their hero, quarterback Tom Brady, play in the 2017 Super Bowl. Good laughs are sure to abound as you view this on the large screen TV at the MAYC. Popcorn will be served at intermission.

Also, due to having a wait list for the April movie

“A Man Called Otto”, a second showing (with no intermission) will be held to view this film on Thursday, June 8 from 10AM-12PM.
