VOLUNTEER COACHES SEEKING GREAT

VOLUNTEER COACHES are the backbone of youth sports and make our youth sport programs possible.

Please join us in providing a positive and fun-filled sports experience for the children in our community. Each team needs a coach to conduct practices and direct players during games. All volunteers who provide direct services to children must pass a background check. Upon completion of a successful season, volunteer coaches will receive a credit (cost of youth sports registration) to use towards future programs.

So don’t wait—fill out your volunteer application now so you are ready to start right along with the team! To continue serving our community we need your help and support.

Visit buckeyeaz.gov/sportsleagues to fill out an application.

On Sunday nights in the 1950s and 60s we got to eat dinner in the living room so we could watch Wagon Train, then later Maverick, and finally Bonanza. DID YOU KNOW?

Did you know Pioneer Days, now celebrated annually as Buckeye Days, was started in 1967 to expand and enhance the Buckeye Historical Museum, a Community Room, and a public library? Initially, the Town planned to construct new housing facilities for the museum but shifted its focus to prioritize the library. By 1971, Buckeye had successfully opened its first dedicated library building.
