When you call 911

• Tell the dispatcher the exact address or location of the emergency. • Wait for instructions from the dispatcher. • Do not hang up until the dispatcher directs you to do so. Never call 911 and hang up! If you accidentally dial 911, stay on the line and tell the dispatcher it was a mistake.
