The first hour of your party will be a guided farm tour with a party host. In this hour, you will have hands-on contact with the animals and will be able to feed them as well. The second hour will be free time at the pavilion near the duck exhibit. The birthday child will receive a gift. Bring your own cake, snacks and beverages. Two-hour reservations are available April 30-October 8 and can be scheduled between 10:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. Call 319-286-5566 to set up your party. Reservations are required two weeks in advance. Fee is $108 per 2 hour period and includes pavilion reservation and farm tour. Non-refundable.

(6-12 yrs.) Stay busy all summer long in this camp for kids entering grades 1-6. Spend your days playing games, making crafts, swimming, participating in special events and going on an occasional field trip. Payment for the first week is due when you register. Sunday This new center is the first municipal 12:00 - 6:00 p.m. building specifically built for recreational programming in Cedar Rapids. It replaces the Time Check Recreation Center that served as a neighborhood center for the northwest area and provided Cedar Rapids Parks & Recreation programs for the entire city. he new building is 16,000 square feet and includes a full-size gymnasium, activity room, game room and community room with dividers. The gym can be divided and used as three separate volleyball courts or two small basketball half courts.

The activity room is a great space for small gatherings. Our game room provides hours of entertainment with billiards, foosball and table tennis. Come relax and read a book in our lounge area. Our community room can be divided into two separate rooms or used as one large meeting room. Table and chairs are provided and a small catering kitchen is available for use. A projector and screen can be rented for a minimal fee.

RECREATION CENTER ADMISSION Enjoy hours of entertainment that includes access to the game room (billiards, foosball, table tennis) and the gym (basketball, volleyball, etc.) when available. Admission Pass: Patrons fill out a form that provides emergency information and has a parent’s consent signature for those under age 18. Complete the form at CRREC.org. Replacement cards are $2. Admission Fee: $1 Youth, $2 Adult, $1 Senior (60+), or Punch Pass (See page 37.) Please note: Facility policy prohibits youth ages 5 and under from using the facility unless accompanied by an adult or in a program. (Sorry, no basketball shorts.) • Deep End Test: To use diving boards or swim in water over 5 feet, you must take the test at any pool where you swim each year. • Concessions are available. No outside food, beverages, alcohol or coolers. OPEN AND FAMILY SWIMS • Children ages 5 & under must be supervised by an adult within arm’s length. • Youths ages 6-10 must be supervised by an adult or responsible person at least age 14. • Water and float toys allowed only at Family, Evening and Weekend Swims. •

Water wings/floaties, large inner tubes, swimsuits with removable floats and life jackets are not allowed. Snorkels, masks that cover the nose and diving sticks are not allowed at Open or Family Swims.

LAP SWIMS • For ages 15 or older. Children may not attend with swimmers. Youths, ages 11-14, may attend lap swim at Jones or evening lap swim at Ellis. Only lap lanes are open at this time. • A walking lane is available at some sites. A lap lane is available at Ellis Pool during Open Swims. • Lap swimmers are allowed entry into the locker room 10 minutes prior to the starting time and into the pool at exact starting time. • Always circle swim. Stay to the right of the black line in your lane, swimming counter-clockwise. • Noodles are not permitted.

ADULT SWIMS A swim for ages 18 or older with no slides available. Additional pool rules are online at CRREC.org and are posted at each pool.

PUBLIC SWIM FACILITY CLOSING POLICY Pools and aquatic centers may open late or close early for the following reasons: • Air temperature below 70 degrees (Lap Swim: air temperature below 60 degrees) • 20 people or less in the facility for a period of one hour (50 people or less at Noelridge and Cherry Hill)

Cheyenne Off-Leash Dog Park is located on Cedar Bend Lane SW, off Old River Road and K9 Acres is located in Squaw Creek Park at 5200 Golf Course Road, Marion. Park Pavilion Rental Rent one of 24 pavilions in the City parks up to one year in advance of the intended use date. The last date for pavilion rental in the fall is October 15, 2017. REGISTRATION GUIDELINES • Payment must be received to register for a program. • The Department reserves the right to cancel or consolidate classes based on registration. A full refund is issued for all cancelled classes. Minimum and maximum class sizes are utilized. • Waiting lists are established when classes are full.
