Ushers Ferry Historic Village offers family-friendly activities, events, and programs that build community from the historical perspective of a small Iowa town at the turn of the 20th century. Located on a ten-acre site in beautiful Seminole Valley, Ushers Ferry features nine ADA accessible, historic buildings available to tour that depict life in a small Iowa town between the years of 1890 and 1910.

Noelridge Farmers’ Market
The open-air Noelridge Farmers’ Market is located at the Noelridge Greenhouse parking area, corner of Collins Road and Council Street NE. It is held once a week on Wednesdays through October 12. Wednesdays | 3:30-5:30 p.m.

The Noelridge Farmers’ Market is certified by the Iowa State Agriculture Department to accept IFMNP checks from the WIC Program. The WIC Program’s function is to supply supplemental foods rich in nutrients to women, infants and children in need. These checks are used in city farmers’ markets to purchase fruits and vegetables.
